This place is the best in town! I had an excellent stay with incredibly friendly staff. The rooms were spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The food was delicious, offering a wide variety of both local and Western dishes. From the reception to the restaurant and housekeeping, every member of the team was fantastic. They were all very welcoming and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel!

I strongly suggest this resort. The food is incredibly tasty, and the hospitality is excellent. If you have any special occasions, you must stay at this hotel and definitely try their super delicious food.

The staff here is fantastic, and the value for money is impressive. The pool is lovely as well. I booked directly through their website, and the room rate was quite reasonable. The rooms are spacious, but the bathroom could use some attention; there was a missing tap and the hot water supply was lacking. They were very accommodating, even serving us breakfast late since we returned from an early morning excursion. They also granted us a late checkout upon request, which was appreciated. The main area for improvement is the food quality. For instance, the chicken fried rice, which cost Rs. 1700, was made with samba rice and had very little chicken, with one of the smallest portions I’ve seen from any place. The fruit salad was similarly tiny and not fresh at all.

I had a wonderful time in Dambulla. The hotel is ideally situated. The staff were exceptionally courteous and polite. Both the pool and the rooms were kept very clean. While the food choices are somewhat limited, they were quite tasty.

I can't speak for the rooms since I only dined here, but the food was fantastic and the service was top-notch. Additionally, the pool area is quite beautiful.

The staff here are lovely and welcoming. They really make you feel at home! The rooms are quite spacious, and the shower is fantastic. Breakfast was both delicious and filling.

After our walk at Lion's Rock, we took a break for lunch and cold drinks with a group of 20. We sat at tables outside, under cover, where there were fans and a nice breeze at times. I liked the vegetable kottu roti, while others in our group opted for various western dishes like omelettes, soup, and sandwiches.

We had a fantastic experience at Lario while traveling with our two young kids, aged 11 months and 3 years. We reserved two rooms that were both spacious and tidy. The family room was particularly large and featured an attic space. The stairs were a little steep, which could be challenging with a curious toddler, but we managed fine, and he enjoyed it. As someone who pays close attention to bathrooms, I was pleased to find them very clean. The staff truly exceeded our expectations. I genuinely wish some five-star hotels had staff as dedicated as they were. They took extra steps to prepare special meals for our children, especially since our 11-month-old had just started on solids. The staff really were the highlight of our stay. Lario is conveniently located near Sigirya, and during our five-night stay, we could easily explore the local attractions using it as our base. The food was good, and as mentioned, they were very accommodating to our needs. Overall, it offers great value, and I highly recommend it. While I did see a few reviews mentioning room issues, we had any problems resolved immediately, so just be sure to inform them if you encounter anything. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful start to our holiday in Sri Lanka at this lovely place, where the staff were friendly and welcoming. The family room was a good size, which was perfect for us and our daughters, aged 12 and 15. The place felt clean, and the pool was ideal for relaxing between our excursions. We spent three nights here enjoying the experience.

My wife and I celebrated our 4th anniversary there. It was just us and another couple, but the staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome along with excellent service. The room was tidy and well-maintained. They even arranged a romantic dinner for us. If you're searching for a place to stay near Dambulla and Sigiriya, I highly recommend Lario Resort.
