This place boasts a fantastic location with an incredible evening view of the Indian Ocean. The owners were extremely helpful! The dinners they prepared truly made our stay one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka. Thank you so much and all the best!

This place has a lovely setup by the sea with a nice room. It offers great value for money and has a peaceful atmosphere, even though there's a lively bar nearby. Everything is clean and pleasant. The couple who manage it are very welcoming and serve delicious meals at reasonable prices. The beautiful sandy beach is just a 10-minute walk away. I highly recommend this as a budget-friendly option. However, be aware that the bathroom water supply can be inconsistent, which is a common issue on the east coast of Sri Lanka.

As the first guest in the newly constructed rooms, I felt incredibly pampered. The room was fantastic, and the ocean view was so stunning it looked like it was created by AI! Plus, the beach is just a short stroll away. The owners were very gracious and frequently checked in to ensure I was having a great time. Thank you for the lovely experience at Sunset Guest House!
