    Post-tsunami conditions disappointing

    Before the tsunami, this place was fantastic, but now, almost nothing has been repaired! A lot of damage still remains! There’s dirt, plastic, and trash everywhere! The number of mosquitoes is unbelievable; they even bite through your clothes! The quality of food, even on the beach, is very poor! It’s too pricey for what you receive! We ended up cutting our vacation short after 14 days and moved to the Maldives for the last 14 days, and everything there was amazing and luxurious!

    Charming experience with great food

    My time here was truly one-of-a-kind. The stunning garden, beachfront location, friendly staff, delicious food, and a delightful room made for a wonderful stay. I will definitely return, and for a longer visit next time!

    Great family-friendly spot in Sri Lanka

    This place is very pleasant and welcoming. It was the ideal starting point for our family holiday in Sri Lanka! We really enjoyed our stay, especially the swimming pool and lovely garden with our daughter. The staff, including the driver and massage therapists, were exceptionally kind, making us feel right at home. The food was quite delicious too! Plus, it's just a 2-minute walk to the beach. We also arranged some tours through the guesthouse, particularly the Bentota River and Fish market trip, where the owner shared a lot of insightful information about Sri Lanka. Huge thanks to the entire team!

    Fantastic Stay at a Guesthouse

    This guesthouse is excellent! The pool is stunning and ideal for unwinding, plus the breakfast is tasty and offers a great variety. We enjoyed a wonderful and restful stay.

    Pleasant meal with friendly staff

    We had a nice meal at this place, even though we were staying in separate accommodations, which didn’t bother us. The clientele was primarily German, and the menu reflected that. We liked the food, and the staff was quite friendly.

    We only dined here, and it was excellent. The staff was very welcoming and spoke some German. The prices were quite reasonable, and we would happily return.

    Great stay with affordable meals

    We received a warm welcome and enjoyed comfortable rooms during our 3-night stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the evening meals were very reasonably priced. The pleasant garden and pool added to the experience. I highly recommend it!

    Mixed feelings about the food

    My wife and I visited this restaurant while staying at a nearby hotel. The food was just okay; they seemed unaware that they had a coffee machine, which resulted in me having instant coffee for the first time in my life! The hamburger on the menu turned out to be cutlets served with mashed potatoes. The portions were generous, which was the only aspect I really appreciated.
