Great stay with friendly locals

The room was brand new and spotless; we even got to pick our favorite room when we arrived. The beautiful pool was a delightful bonus! It offers excellent value for the price. Situated in a peaceful little alley, it's surrounded by locals. We communicated effortlessly with Chathu, and the neighbor greeted us with a warm smile, showcasing the hospitality of the Sri Lankan people! I highly recommend it!

Wonderful start to our Sri Lanka trip

This was our first hotel upon reaching Sri Lanka, and it was a fantastic beginning to our journey! We were greeted with warmth, feeling like part of the family. The entire staff is incredibly attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. The meals were delightful, surpassing some restaurants, especially the fish barbecue, which was a real highlight! The welcome and service were top-notch, offering unbeatable value for money, and the hotel is situated in a tranquil area, ideal for relaxation. They also provide convenient transportation options like tuk-tuks and taxis. This family-run hotel truly deserves more recognition. They really excel in taking care of their guests, and it reflects in every aspect. We enjoyed every moment and will surely return!

Charming Family Getaway

This is a warm and inviting family-run place that is always eager to assist. It's situated just five minutes by tuk-tuk from the town and close to a beautiful beach, making it an ideal spot to unwind before your departure. We'll always hold fond memories of this place and its family. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. The lovely little garden features a swimming pool and an outdoor dining area. Honestly, we had no complaints at all.

Fantastic Stay in a Quiet Area

Lenaresort is nestled in a peaceful residential neighborhood. The spacious, clean, and well-kept rooms are very modern, featuring numerous new LEDs and a quiet, powerful air conditioner that cools the space quickly. Blackout curtains adorn the large glass doors, and the bathroom is impressively clean and modern with plenty of storage. The state-of-the-art shower can be switched between a rain shower and a regular one, and there's always hot water available. Overall, it’s perfect—super modern and clean, definitely top-tier. The bed is enormous and extremely comfortable, complete with multiple pillows and two duvets available upon request. It has a solid stone base that can be used for storage. The room is well-lit with many cozy LED lamps, and the bathroom lighting is especially good; after four weeks in Sri Lanka, we finally could see ourselves properly to shave, etc. The lovely balcony, furnished with a table and chairs, is perfect for relaxation. The room includes additional chairs, a table, a refrigerator, a wardrobe, and plenty of electrical outlets. The only thing that could enhance it would be a clothes rack for drying laundry or swimwear. The menu offers a wide variety, making it great for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. For dinner, we enjoyed several rice dishes and kottu, all of which were delightful. There are comfy loungers by the large, clean pool for sunbathing and relaxing, along with ample seating options, including shaded spots under palm trees and in the dining area. Tuk-tuks, cars, and motorbikes can be parked securely overnight in a gated area on the property. The entire family is incredibly welcoming, and Chathu, the owner and father, speaks excellent German and provides amazing tours, including private excursions throughout Sri Lanka. This is perfect for many tourists since he understands both German and English very well. What more could you want? It's unfortunate that we only found this wonderful accommodation at the end of our trip. In our view, it was the best place with the loveliest people we encountered during our lengthy journey through Sri Lanka in March 2026! Exceptional stay at Lena Resort

During our time at Lena Resort, we found it to be one of the best places we've ever visited. The service was top-notch, and the rooms were spotless and well-kept.
