The villa is lovely, tidy, and features a welcoming staff. I had a fantastic experience during my stay: the service from the staff was attentive and quick. The food was delicious, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds. The location is excellent, with a stunning view of the river. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience, felt truly welcomed, and would definitely return.

What a hidden treasure! I stayed at Kurokawa with some friends, and we received exceptional service from Kanishka and Chathuranga. They were attentive throughout the night and well into the morning. Chef Tharindu truly excels at his craft. We enjoyed some of the best meals, and all the guests were satisfied. The portion sizes on the menu were also quite generous. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to escape for a weekend that’s not too far from Colombo.

Our two-night stay at Kurokawa Kalutara was fantastic. Our group, consisting of 10 adults and 3 kids, had a wonderful time. The staff, particularly Kamal, were very accommodating and friendly, and every meal we had was excellent. The rooms were cozy, the pool was well-kept, and the elevator made it easy for our entire group to access all floors. Most of the property offers stunning views of the greenery and the river. We also had a blast with the karaoke setup on the third floor! All in all, it was a great trip at a fantastic full-board price. I highly recommend this place, and we would certainly come back again.

This place is fantastic for groups of 10 to 12 people. It's great for private parties where you can play your own music, and the fully lit pool is perfect for a nighttime swim. One of the standout features is the steam bath unit, which can accommodate four people at once.

They also catered to special meal requests for the kids, which we really appreciated. From the moment we booked, everything went smoothly and was well-organized. Manager Manoj and the entire staff were very attentive and supportive during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a relaxing and family-friendly retreat.

In May 2026, a group of friends and I visited this property, and it proved to be a great choice for spending time with friends and family, offering various areas to relax. The rooftop area featuring a pool table boasts fantastic views, while the pool area, conveniently connected to the main hall, serves as another nice gathering spot. The rooms were comfortable, with air-conditioning that worked well, and the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The pool was enjoyable, and the steam room functioned properly. The food was outstanding, and the staff was very accommodating. We requested dinner about an hour and a half in advance, and they responded without any complaints, which really contributed to a positive experience. By morning, the property was tidy and organized, and the staff made sure that all belongings were accounted for. Most impressively, when two valuable items went missing (including a gold ring), the staff promptly informed our group and returned them. Their attentiveness was remarkable. Overall, it was an excellent experience!
