Relaxing Stay at Amy's Heaven

I spent two nights in Villa 2 at Amy's Heaven with friends, and it was a very relaxing experience. The villa was spacious and nicely furnished. Rodrigo, the manager, was always available to assist with our needs. Although the menu is limited, Pathum the cook does an excellent job with what’s offered. There's a small beach in front of the villas, and I found the water to be clean and perfect for swimming. The sunset there is breathtaking. I look forward to returning to Amy’s.

Disappointing Experience Despite Good Food

We had a really unfortunate experience. The swimming pool was not well maintained, which was disappointing. For breakfast, we were given two options: Sinhala and English menus, but they seemed clueless about how to prepare a proper breakfast for us. It was the worst experience ever. Additionally, there was a planned power cut that they were aware of, yet they took no action to mitigate the situation. They could have used a generator but chose to ignore that option. As a result, we couldn't charge our devices or use the lights, AC, or fan. I was really let down. ☹️ It felt like the only thing they cared about was collecting money, with no regard for our comfort. The service was very poor.

Great beach stay with attentive service

I really enjoyed this place; it was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing, with a pool right on the beach. We reserved a quad for our family of four for the weekend. The service was excellent, with Rodrigo and Pathum being especially helpful. They took great care of us, assisting my elderly mother and aunt throughout our visit. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return!

Comfortable stay with great service

This is a fantastic spot in Sri Lanka. Our family of four spent three nights here and felt very at home. The pool was spotless and was cleaned every day. Each morning, we awoke to the soothing sounds of the ocean and enjoyed a tasty Sri Lankan-style breakfast. While we did notice a few minor issues, Rodrigo was quick to assist us and took care of everything right away. The bathroom features a typical Sri Lankan design, and the beds were incredibly comfortable :)

Tranquil family holiday spot

This place boasts a fantastic location that offers a peaceful atmosphere perfect for a family getaway. The beach feels private, with no vendors or disturbances, allowing us to fully enjoy the beautiful blue ocean. However, a bit more cleaning in the hotel area by the beach would have been ideal. The rooms are very tidy and cozy, meeting a good standard. The only thing I felt was missing was a tea and coffee making facility. Nonetheless, each room comes equipped with its own water filter and kettle, which helps reduce plastic waste and pollution. The bed sheets and towels were impeccably clean and well laundered. I have to commend the staff; they made me feel like I was in a five-star hotel. The food is sourced from a nearby restaurant. Although it features traditional dishes and lacks Western options, the staff were incredibly patient in accommodating our requests, and they managed to meet all our needs. In my view, having a small kitchen for lunch and dinner would elevate this place to one of the best in Wadduwa. That said, the breakfast they prepared was excellent and delicious, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The building itself is well designed, with tasteful fittings and decorations enhancing the stay. However, the bare roof sheets detract from the hotel’s overall elegance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We truly appreciated their efforts. The hotel owner is fortunate to have such wonderful staff; they deserve high praise. We definitely plan to return.

A Peaceful Spot for Dog Lovers

This place has a very calm and welcoming vibe. The staff is fantastic. If you're a dog lover, this is definitely the right spot for you. Just remember to bring some treats for the pups!

Beautiful beachfront escape

This spot is stunning, situated right on the beach. It's tranquil, serene, and a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend it for a complete disconnect.
