    Exciting renovations in Kalutara

    The location is currently undergoing renovations and is set to reopen in a few months. It’s located in the coastal area of Kalutara North, just a stone's throw from the ocean. This place is perfect for spontaneous meetups or birthday celebrations. Soon, a moderate-sized wedding hall will be available, making it a lovely venue for simple weddings.

    It's a really cool place to hang out with friends in the evening, plus it has a nice view of Kalido Beach. The parking area is decent, but it would be great if they had a swimming pool too.

    Fantastic Host at Prasad's Hotel

    On our final night in Sri Lanka, my two friends and I found ourselves without any accommodation plans and stumbled upon Prasad's hotel. He turned out to be the best host we encountered during our three-week trip! Prasad was incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing us with countless laughs. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy and comfortable. It’s a wonderful hotel!

    Disappointing Stay at Royal Oshin Hotel

    My experience at the Royal Oshin Hotel was quite disappointing due to inadequate maintenance and unprofessional service. Although the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning functioned well, many other aspects were not acceptable. The reception staff lacked warmth; they didn't greet guests, rarely smiled, and hardly answered phone calls. The room had multiple safety and maintenance problems, such as a broken mirror on the table, a damaged bathroom ceiling, and a bathroom window that wouldn’t lock. Additionally, the shower was not cleaned properly, there was no hot water, and essential items like toilet paper were missing. Given the price, the issues with cleanliness and security are very concerning. I sincerely hope management addresses these repairs promptly.
