    Wonderful stay with excellent service

    I recently enjoyed a stay at this hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. The rooms were tidy, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel's overall atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing. The food was tasty with a nice selection of options, and everything was fresh and well-presented. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding, and the staff were consistently polite and attentive. I want to especially highlight Ms. Omesha, who offered exceptional service during our visit. She was friendly, professional, and always eager to help with a warm smile. Her efforts went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her commitment truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, quality service, and a pleasant stay.

    Avoid This Hotel at All Costs

    Our stay at this hotel was a complete disaster. Despite having a confirmed suite reservation that was fully paid, we were met with endless waiting, false promises, and ultimately, the admission that no rooms were available. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the situation—just a sense of arrogance from the staff. It was evident they had overbooked intentionally, yet they still accepted our payment, fully aware they couldn't accommodate us. We were forced to relocate to another hotel with inferior rooms that bore no resemblance to what we had originally booked. The staff acted as if they had the right to dictate our accommodations, showing no consideration for our comfort or preferences. This entire ordeal felt greedy and disrespectful, transforming what should have been a relaxing vacation into a stressful and disappointing experience. Guests are treated like mere numbers rather than individuals. This property ruined our holiday, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Save yourself the trouble—stay away from this hotel.

    Pleasant Stay at Grand Beach Hotel

    I recently spent the night at Grand Beach Hotel in Wadduwa from April 14th to April 15th, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is well-kept and cozy, providing a soothing environment for guests. The food was excellent, offering a wonderful selection and tasty flavors that made a real impression during my stay. The service and overall setting contributed to a delightful visit. In summary, it’s a solid hotel and a lovely spot to unwind by the beach. I would suggest it to anyone seeking a tranquil escape.

    Great stay with exceptional service

    We enjoyed a fantastic one-day stay at this hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, contributing to a great experience. The food was well-prepared and delicious, making every meal enjoyable. The hospitality was outstanding — every staff member, including the security officer, was friendly and welcoming. I want to especially highlight the receptionist, Ms. Dewmi, for her professionalism and helpfulness during our stay. We're also grateful to the restaurant team — Visal, Venul, Dasun, and Isira — for their attentive and kind service, which enhanced our dining experience. A particular highlight was the thoughtful birthday surprise; they baked a cake for me, adding a special touch to the celebration. It was a lovely and considerate gesture. Thank you for the wonderful experience. We truly appreciate all the effort and would certainly recommend this hotel to others. Just a minor suggestion: it would be great if they could have a play area for kids.

    Wonderful stay with attentive staff

    We spent four days at this hotel and were quite happy with our experience. Throughout our visit, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive—they quickly responded to every request and were always eager to assist. The room was fantastic and was cleaned promptly whenever we asked. During our stay, it was my birthday, and the hotel staff made it truly special. They sang to me in the restaurant and offered warm wishes, and the room was beautifully decorated. On our final evening, they even arranged a table adorned with flowers, which was very touching and memorable. We had breakfast and dinner included, and the food was diverse and delicious, featuring both local and European dishes. A special shoutout to the restaurant! They offer an additional menu for an extra charge, and we tried the seafood mix—it was incredibly tasty, with a generous portion and a great variety of seafood. Everything was cooked to perfection. The hotel is situated a bit away from the hustle and bustle, which we appreciated—it provided a peaceful retreat from the city's noise. The ambiance is tranquil: you can unwind by the pool, take a swim, or stroll to the beach. The sunrises and sunsets here are absolutely stunning. On our departure day, we had an early check-out, and the staff thoughtfully prepared lunch boxes for us to take along. Thanks 🩷🩷🩷

    On February 15, 2025, our group of four families stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel Wadduwa, booking the Ocean Suite rooms. The accommodations were excellent—clean and comfortable. The hotel boasts a fantastic location with stunning sea views. The pool area is pleasant, and the ocean view from there is remarkable. The food was decent, and we truly enjoyed our time together. However, we did encounter a setback, as it took about 2.5 hours to receive our rooms after we arrived. This was quite disappointing, and we hope the hotel can enhance their customer service and check-in process. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we had a great time together. 👍

The staff also organized a birthday cake, cut it for her, and played a special song — such a thoughtful and touching gesture.     I spent my birthday here before traveling to Ella. It was a fantastic experience with incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They went out of their way to make my birthday memorable by providing a cake and decorating my room with petals!     Great stay with excellent service

    We had a fantastic time at this hotel and really enjoyed our vacation. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. A big thank you to Miss Umesha and Miss Dewmi for their warm greetings and assistance throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless and comfy, and we absolutely loved the stunning view from our accommodation. The food was simply outstanding, and the food and beverage service was genuinely five-star. Special thanks to Chef Chamith for his excellent work with the meals. All the staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely love to come back again.
