Although we didn't stay here, we stopped by for a drink while walking back down the train tracks road. Upon entering the complex, we were greeted and escorted to a table in the gardens near the beach. The service was excellent, and our drinks arrived promptly.

We regretted our decision to dine at this restaurant. The food was not enjoyable and took nearly two hours to arrive. There wasn’t really any waiter service, so I can’t provide feedback on that aspect. The lack of other customers should have tipped us off about what to expect.

Our experience at Green Shadows beach hotel in Waskaduwa was fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warm hospitality and a friendly atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, plus the location was perfect for exploring the area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and honestly, everything I tried was superb. We highly recommend Green Shadows beach hotel to anyone visiting Kalutara, and we can't wait to come back in the future with family and friends!

This hotel boasts a fantastic location right on the beach. The atmosphere is quite peaceful. I spent one night here and received wonderful hospitality from the hotel staff. It’s a great value for what you pay, and it's also close to Kaluthara Bodhiya.

The view and location are truly outstanding. The restaurant is lovely and offers a very calming atmosphere. The food was top-notch and expertly made. The only minor drawback was the dessert choices, which could use a little enhancement. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it.
