This is a very clean and nice spot with a layout similar to a typical one-bedroom apartment, featuring a bedroom, kitchen, living room, and washroom. There's also a balcony equipped with a table and chairs. I believe there should be more recommendations for this lovely place, especially since their rates are quite reasonable.

The apartment is fantastic—spacious, tidy, and equipped with everything one could need. The hostess is genuinely attentive, preparing a wonderful variety of breakfasts. It's just a 5-minute stroll to the beach, surrounded by lush greenery, picturesque views, and plenty of wildlife. The accommodations surpassed my expectations with air conditioning, a refrigerator, a stove, and a wide assortment of utensils. The massive terrace is a real bonus. There are numerous outlets available, and all utilities—water, gas, electricity—functioned without any issues. The service was top-notch yet unobtrusive. There was an ample supply of drinking water and lemonade in the apartment. The hosts kindly drove us to the train station and assisted us with our heavy luggage, which was invaluable, especially with the train's brief two-minute stop. They even gifted us souvenirs and packed a breakfast lunchbox to take along!

The place didn’t match the description at all! There’s no beach view, and it’s right next to a railway line, so the trains roar by constantly, making the buildings shake. The kitchenette is bare—there’s no cooking equipment, no toaster, no kettle, and nothing to heat food. To top it off, the fridge was scruffy and unclean. The staircase was also lacking in upkeep.

The apartment was nice but missing some essentials like a kettle, microwave, and cooker. There was a shared kitchen, but we weren't informed about its location. The Wi-Fi connection wasn't great, and be cautious about giving your phone number to the owner, as she will frequently call asking you to turn off the air conditioning.

This place offers affordable lodging with spacious, clean rooms and the added benefit of a dining area and kitchen. You won’t need to cook, as the host serves traditional dishes like Egg Hoppers, Coconut Pancakes, and banana breakfast. There are about three locally-owned seafood restaurants along the beach within a short 3-minute walk, all of which have staff that speak good English. While larger tourist complexes are popping up nearby, the B&B owner can direct you to local restaurants, spas, and shops if you share our preference for local experiences. There's even a fridge available for those who want to enjoy a few cold beers and a quiet evening. We dined at the Red Crab seafood restaurant after our B&B host recommended it. She even called ahead, ensuring we got a good deal. Another local spot we tried was the Green Lobster, where we were greeted by a friendly young lady who chatted and served us well. Though we’re traveling on a budget, we’re enjoying a comfortable stay and delicious meals here.

We had a fantastic stay! The room was tastefully decorated with meticulous attention to detail and was always impeccably clean. The host was very friendly and accommodating, which made us feel right at home. Everything was warm and well-organized – we truly felt at home. Highly recommended!

Our experience at Blue Moon Villa was fantastic! Sudarshi proved to be an excellent host, handling our last-minute booking and being very accommodating to our requests. When we mentioned wanting Sri Lankan breakfasts, she went out of her way to prepare hoppers for us in the morning! The atmosphere was vibrant and the location was great, making it definitely worth the price!
