We had a fantastic experience at Kamili Beach Resort in Waskaduwa! From the time we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The resort boasts a stunning beachside location that offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The pool area was delightful, and our rooms were spacious, clean, and had a lovely view of the sea. We had an amazing overnight experience at Kamili Beach Resort 🌊✨😊. From the moment we stepped in, everything felt just right. The atmosphere was serene, the place was spotless, and it was clearly well-kept. Our rooms offered comfort and relaxation, the food was truly delightful, and the amenities were top-notch. I had one of the most frustrating hotel experiences of my life at this place. We inquired about a hut near the pool, and the staff initially mentioned it might be in use since some guests had drinks there the day before. This was confusing, so we specifically asked if it was actually booked. They assured us it wasn’t, which only added to the perplexity. Eventually, they allowed us to use the hut, but then they took away the table, claiming they needed it for the restaurant. What’s the use of a hut without basic furniture? Things took a turn for the worse when we requested shot glasses. In what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, they refused and provided us with paper cups instead. Drinking whisky from paper cups in a hotel like this is simply unacceptable and frankly embarrassing. The buffet was a disaster. We arrived around 2 PM, and more than half the food was already gone. There was no proper refilling or organization — it was pure chaos. The restaurant manager was incredibly arrogant and clearly didn’t know how to handle guests. Ironically, the pool staff demonstrated far better manners and professionalism than the manager. To top it off, when we went to settle the bill, the counter staff didn’t even know how many people we were or what we had ordered. It was completely disorganized. Overall, this is by far the worst hotel I have encountered in my 35 years. Poor service, poor management, and a complete lack of attention to guest experience. I would not recommend this place at all.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The food was incredible, featuring a wide range of options and high quality. The service was outstanding — the staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to assist. We were also impressed by the cleanliness, as both the rooms and facilities were well-kept throughout our visit. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would certainly come back.

I had a fantastic stay here. It's a lovely, peaceful spot to unwind. One of the best features is the resort's direct access to the beach. I spent my whole day exploring both the resort and the beach, and the breakfast was excellent. I tried coconut porridge for the first time and found it incredibly tasty. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very professional and polite when interacting with guests. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay in Sri Lanka. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it. Thank you for the great hospitality 🙏🏻
