Charming spot with great atmosphere

This is a lovely and inviting place that perfectly combines modern and rustic elements. The seating is spacious and airy, complemented by warm lighting that fosters a soothing vibe, whether you choose to sit indoors or on the delightful outdoor walkway surrounded by greenery. The food and drinks are both fresh and tasty — I found the pineapple mint cooler to be particularly refreshing! It's a great spot to relax with friends or family.

Unique Dining Experience in Trincomalee

This restaurant is a fantastic spot, truly unlike any other in Trincomalee. If you’re looking for a delicious meal with excellent quality, this is the place to be! As Italians, we wholeheartedly recommend it! We had a wonderful dinner here last time. A big thanks to the lady owner who infuses a touch of Italy into her selections!

Charming boutique hotel experience

This boutique hotel is centrally located, close to the beach and the deer park. It’s very tidy and has plenty of cozy details. The rooms are both comfortable and modern. The dining area at the back feels inviting with lots of plants. It truly feels like a home away from home in Trincomalee.

Charming stay at Neem Tree House

We spent two nights at Neem Tree House and had a fantastic experience 🌿 The rooms were incredibly comfortable and beautifully designed — you can truly appreciate the love and attention to detail the owner has infused into every corner. The service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — you feel well looked after from the moment you step in 🙏✨ Breakfast was tasty, and the coffee was top-notch ☕️👌 The food was another highlight. It was enjoyable to sample the blend of Italian and Sri Lankan dishes, each with a creative flair 🍝✨ Everything felt thoughtfully prepared. It was also fascinating to hear from the owner about the property's history, having been in the family since 1936 and restored with such care 🏡🌱 It truly gives the place a unique character. We highly recommend Neem Tree House for both a stay and for lunch or dinner in the lovely garden setting 🌿🍽️ A special gem in Trincomalee 💛

Great stay with modern amenities

Nice drinks, disappointing food

I went to Neem Tree House in Trincomalee with my wife, where we tried the Nasi Goreng Chicken, Chicken Dolphin Kottu, and a Passion Fruit Drink. The atmosphere was pleasant and serene, making it ideal for a relaxing evening. The Passion Fruit Drink was quite refreshing and had a great flavor — it wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. On the downside, the food left much to be desired. Both the Nasi Goreng Chicken and Chicken Dolphin Kottu were lacking in flavor, freshness, and overall balance. They felt greasy and bland, which really didn’t meet the quality we anticipated. In summary, it's a lovely place for drinks and a nice vibe, but the food definitely requires enhancement.

Ideal Home Office Experience

I spent a month here after my flight was canceled, and it turned out to be the perfect "home office." The guest house is modern, quiet, and exceptionally clean. The serene garden setting allowed me to concentrate and work efficiently, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. With outstanding hospitality and a fantastic restaurant on-site, this is undoubtedly the best place in Trinco for a comfortable and productive stay.

Lovely stay with personal touches

A peaceful green oasis next to Trincomalee’s Main Street, crafted by the owner Mali. Our stay was enjoyable, enhanced by Mali's personal touch—she made us a delicious Italian breakfast featuring bruschetta with local fish. Yummy! 👍🏻
