Avoid this area for better options

This place was disappointing for us. We found it through Google Maps, but the area was unattractive and filled with rubbish. The lagoon, which is a 600-meter walk away, was also very dirty. If you're looking for a better experience, I recommend the nice beach in Uppuveli, just 5 km away, where there are many restaurants and affordable guesthouses. Dutch Beach is only 3.8 km away. We definitely do not recommend this village area since it lacks shops and restaurants, and it's quite dirty with lots of mosquitoes. If you want, I can share some pictures to show just how terrible Saji Residence is. We suggest avoiding booking through websites like Booking.com and instead checking out the area directly to negotiate a better deal. If you really want to go there, make sure to inspect the location first. Otherwise, consider booking a nicer, more affordable guesthouse on Uppuveli Beach. We went to Nilaveli, and the local beaches at Uppuveli are much better than this place.

Wonderful Stay with Kind Hosts

Our experience staying here was fantastic. The owner and his wife were incredibly kind and helpful. The property has a cozy, homely atmosphere and is impeccably clean. All the amenities are excellent, and the place appears to be quite new.

Great stay with excellent hospitality

I appreciate the wonderful dinner and the effort to make my stay unforgettable. The assistance with my phone setup and the recommendations for places to visit and dine were very helpful. The room was safe, comfortable, and impeccably clean, complete with an attached bathroom. I would definitely recommend Sajee Residence to anyone traveling to Trincomalee. Pleasant stay at Sajee Residence

After our original accommodation was cancelled, we decided to stay at Sajee Residence and were very happy with our choice. The property is brand new, tidy, cozy, and well-kept. The owner was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating during our visit. When we asked for a two-hour late check-out, she readily arranged it for a fair extra fee. Her supportive demeanor truly enhanced our experience. I would strongly recommend Sajee Residence to anyone seeking a comfortable and stress-free stay.

Comfortable stay in a quiet location
