Great food and atmosphere in Ella

If you're in Ella and searching for a fantastic spot to unwind, savor delicious food, and enjoy a lively environment, Chill Cafe is the place to go. It was quite crowded during our dinner visit, but we managed to secure a table after a brief wait. The food was superb. We sampled the Sri Lankan thali and a fish starter, both of which were delightful. The thali particularly impressed us—it had an authentic taste and resembled a genuine home-cooked meal, making it an excellent option for anyone wanting to experience traditional Sri Lankan flavors. With its energetic vibe, attentive service, and tasty dishes, Chill Cafe is certainly a must-visit when you're in Ella.

Delicious Meal at Chill Cafe

We had an amazing dining experience at Chill Cafe in Ella! The food was incredibly tasty, and the service was top-notch. We tried the Devil Chicken with rice and the Float on the Boat with noodles — both dishes were outstanding. Our daughter adored her Margherita pizza. Everything was fresh, packed with flavor, and well-prepared. We truly enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it!

Great food, needs better cooling

The food and atmosphere here are fantastic. I do wish they would add some fans to help guests stay cool, though. We sampled the chicken Lumprais and the Beef Mighty. The burger patties were really juicy, and the Lumprais was both hot and flavorful. However, the chicken could use a bit more spice. The mango chutney on the side was excellent. This place is definitely worth a visit.

Delicious Tuna and Great Mango Juice

I had the grilled tuna called "By the sea" along with some mango juice. The tuna portion was quite generous and cooked to perfection. The mango juice was simply outstanding. I was able to find a seat without any trouble during lunch hours.

Delicious Food and Cozy Atmosphere

The food was incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting! We got there at 6:30 PM and were lucky to find a table, but many were already reserved. When we left, there was quite a queue outside. So, it's best to arrive early! 😉
