This place is truly amazing! The scenery featuring green hills and a waterfall is breathtaking. Upon arrival, we were greeted with tea and cookies, which added a nice personal touch. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the rooms were roomy, and the bathroom was spotless. P.S. If you're staying here, don't miss out on trying the Sri Lankan food at Cafe Chill in Ella.

This hotel is fantastic. The owners are incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure your visit is enjoyable. They organized a scooter for us and arranged tuk tuks to get to and from Ella town. The location is excellent, with several restaurants within walking distance, and Ella town is just a 10-minute tuk tuk ride away.

The room was spacious and featured a beautiful balcony with an amazing view. The hosts were incredibly kind – a truly caring family that did everything they could to ensure our stay was perfect. The location was serene, and the breakfast was simply delicious. I highly recommend this place! :)

The views here are absolutely beautiful, set in a peaceful spot. Considering how bustling the center of Ella can get, it's definitely worth the 1km walk to get to this location. The rooms were tidy, roomy, and well-equipped. I believe it's perfect for a stay of 2-3 nights.

The staff were incredibly helpful, especially SMILY, which was a big relief. The room was clean and spacious, featuring a large bathroom with warm water. The beds were comfortable and equipped with mosquito nets. Breakfast was decent. Nearby, there's a charming restaurant for dinner.

Our experience was truly delightful. Both the room and bathroom were clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The service was outstanding, and they even treated us to complimentary evening tea. I highly recommend this place. The view of the waterfall is spectacular.

The family's hospitality is incredible, making this stay truly unforgettable. Breakfast was fantastic and enjoyed on our room's balcony. Plus, Ella can get quite busy, so it's nice to come back and unwind in the peaceful atmosphere. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and we’ll cherish the memory. Thank you again! 😊 If you're up for it, you can easily walk up and down the hill if you're good on your feet.

This place is a hidden gem that offers excellent value for your money. Although it’s somewhat remote, situated on a steep, winding road, the stunning views and tranquility make it worthwhile. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the service is both friendly and tailored to your needs. I highly recommend it.

We spent four nights at La Montagna and it was in a perfect spot, situated on a hill away from the hustle and bustle of Ella. Each evening, we strolled down and took in the stunning views from our room. Breakfast was fantastic and seemed to get heartier every day. The owners were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond for us. There are steps that provide a shortcut into Ella. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! 🙏🏼
