The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the service is commendable. However, the bathrooms had a bit of a musty smell and lacked proper airflow. The steep access road to the hotel requires some hiking, as tuk-tuks can only take you partway, so it's wise to plan your day accordingly and be prepared for this. We enjoyed walking, so it wasn’t a problem for us, but we did notice some older guests having difficulty, especially during heavy rain. We would have loved to stay another night just to soak in those views.

This lovely hotel perched on a mountain offers breathtaking views of the nearby peaks and a waterfall. Our room was spotless and equipped with all the essentials. We had an excellent stay with breathtaking views of both Little Adams Peak and Ella Rock, which frame 'The Gap' between them. Our room, 516, was on the top floor and overlooked the town. It was a good size, and the bed was incredibly cozy. The air conditioning worked well, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. Pradeep at the front desk was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, as were all the staff we met, including the cleaning crew. The only downside, which is also a positive, is its location. Being high on a hill provides magnificent views, but the steep incline makes it a bit less accessible. That said, they do offer a shuttle service running from 7:30 am to 6 pm, which took care of any transportation needs we had. We really enjoyed the location that overlooked both the gap and the town below. I highly recommend this property and would happily stay here again.

This hotel offers beautiful rooms and a very friendly staff. Everything is kept clean and well-maintained. The top-floor pool is fantastic, providing a lovely view of the surroundings, just like the bar. Breakfast is delicious, too. Although the road to the hotel is somewhat steep, they provide a shuttle service during the day. You're near the city center, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, with Rahul standing out in particular. The views and facilities are fantastic. While some reviews mention that the restaurant is located up a steep hill, there is a shuttle service available, or you can take a tuk tuk in the evening. We, in our mid-60s, found the shuttle ride a bit long, but the walk into town was surprisingly easy, taking about 5 minutes, and it was a similar journey back.

We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. We booked a superior deluxe room, and the views were absolutely breathtaking, featuring a waterfall and mountain range visible from our balcony. The room itself was spacious and had a very comfy bed. They made a real effort to cater to guests' needs with thoughtful additions like a power adapter and USB plugs next to the bed. On the downside, we did notice some noise from the town that carried up to the hotel. The staff were all wonderful and eager to assist. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. It's worth mentioning that the hotel is located at the top of a very steep hill. We had to arrange for the hotel shuttle to pick us up at the bottom when we arrived, as our driver couldn't make it up the hill. The shuttle is available for trips into Ella during your stay, but be ready for a bit of a wait. We took a tuk tuk back in the evening, but they charge a higher rate since they won't have a return trip. One of us had to get out and walk part of the way up because it was tough for the tuk tuk. However, don't let that discourage you; this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Ella.
