Our experience at Tea Bush hotel was delightful. The staff were friendly and eager to assist. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The hotel's location was convenient and easily accessible. It offered a peaceful atmosphere, allowing us to enjoy a truly relaxing stay. Overall, we're pleased with our visit and would definitely recommend it!

We traveled from India and had planned to spend a few days at the Tea Bush hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Unfortunately, we found ourselves stranded there due to cyclone Ditwah, as road closures prevented us from leaving and we had no network coverage or internet for several days. During this challenging time, the hotel management, particularly Chamila Sir and Sumith Sir, took excellent care of us, ensuring our safety throughout the cyclone. With no mobile connectivity to let our family know we were okay, they encouraged us to stay until conditions improved. The hotel manager made it a point to check in with the police each morning for updates on the road status and kept us informed. After three additional days at the hotel, we were finally able to reach Colombo. Remarkably, the hotel management didn’t charge us for food or accommodation during our extended stay, despite our insistence to pay; they simply stated it was their duty to help in such circumstances. While basic food is essential in tough times, they paid careful attention to our meals. Even as we left for Colombo, they prepared lunch for us to help us reach our destination quickly. Not all heroes wear capes, and you both exemplify that. We are grateful for the care we received at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, the washrooms clean, and the food was good. A special thank you to Nuwan for communicating with our family about our safety. Thank you so much, Tea Bush hotel.

The rooms are well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff was really helpful. Both the rooms and bathrooms are better kept than many hotels in Nuwara Eliya. The food is excellent. I can definitely recommend it! 👌

During my stay in Nuwara Eliya, I searched for an affordable hotel near Gregory Lake and the town center, which led me to discover Tea Bush Hotel on Agoda. I found the pricing to be reasonable, and the setting was quite tranquil. I enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, and since I visited over the weekend, it wasn't crowded at all. While the hotel shows its age, it provides good value for what you pay. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, and there was ample parking available. You can also snap some photos in the garden and unwind with a cup of tea in the evening. All in all, it’s a solid option for those seeking a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.

This hotel has the makings of a lovely spot, with a lot of potential for charm. Unfortunately, in its current state, it falls short of that. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by a moldy odor, a stark contrast to the well-ventilated places nearby.
