    Incredible Snorkeling Experience

    We had a fantastic experience with Sathu Tours. We went snorkeling with whales, and our guide, Samin, was incredibly knowledgeable! He had a deep understanding of cetaceans, including their behaviors and movement patterns. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to spot three different species of dolphins. His warm hospitality also enhanced our time. He brought a variety of fruits to keep us refreshed while we waited for the cetaceans to appear. Overall, it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure!

    Incredible Snorkeling Experience

    What a memorable experience! I went snorkeling with Samin and his crew to see sea turtles in their natural environment. Before we even got into the water, we were given an engaging introduction about sea turtles in Sri Lanka and how to interact with them respectfully. Once we were in the water, I had the incredible luck of seeing many sea turtles up close – it was truly a magical experience! Samin and his team were very accommodating, and their friendly demeanor made the tour stand out. A key highlight for me was the sustainable approach of the tour, with a clear emphasis on the well-being of the marine life. This is a unique nature experience that I highly recommend!

    Fantastic Ethical Turtle Snorkeling Tour

    I was searching for a responsible turtle snorkeling adventure and I'm so glad I discovered Sathu Tours. From beginning to end, the experience was outstanding. In the morning, Zusana provided a captivating introduction about the company’s mission and principles. She mentioned that the guides never feed the turtles and prohibit guests from touching them, as this can be harmful to the creatures. It was refreshing to see their dedication to safeguarding the turtles, other marine life, and the environment—they even picked up bits of plastic from the water to prevent the turtles from ingesting them. Despite not feeding them, we encountered numerous turtles, some of which swam remarkably close! We also saw a variety of fish and even a moray eel. Overall, it was an incredible experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour—make sure to book with them if you have the opportunity!

    Unforgettable Sri Lankan Safari Experience

    Our time with Zuzka and Supun from Sathu Tours was truly the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. We embarked on a safari in Yala and were fortunate enough to encounter amazing elephant families, peacocks, crocodiles, buffaloes, monitor lizards, and a variety of bird species. What really moved us, however, was how Zuzka and Supun interacted with the animals. Their deep love and understanding of nature were evident. They ensured that the animals remained in their natural habitat, which added an authentic and tranquil quality to the experience. The snorkeling was equally enchanting. We swam alongside sea turtles and vibrant fish, gaining insights about marine life that we hadn’t known before. This didn’t feel like an ordinary tour; it felt like exploring the island with individuals who genuinely care about its conservation. If you're looking to experience the wild side of Sri Lanka with knowledgeable guides who respect nature, Sathu is undoubtedly the best option. Thank you both for these unforgettable memories!

    Incredible Turtle Snorkeling Experience

    Our turtle snorkeling adventure with Sathu was amazing. It was great to start with an informative session about what we would encounter and how to interact ethically with the turtles and fish. You can truly sense that this company cares deeply about animals and their welfare. While we were snorkeling, we were fortunate to spot everything we had hoped to see. Even though we refrained from touching any turtles, they swam very close to us.     We picked Sathu Tour for snorkeling with turtles, and it was truly amazing. We got to see beautiful sea turtles in their natural environment—a breathtaking experience that set the stage for the rest of our trip. What really impressed us was the team's deep respect for the animals and their extensive knowledge, which they conveyed with such enthusiasm. Initially, we were against going on a whale watching tour, worried about contributing to the mistreatment of cetaceans. However, after speaking with the team and watching their videos—showing them alone at sea, free-diving up close with these giants—we realized they operate on a different level. Their authentic approach convinced us that if we were to take this chance in our lives, it had to be with them. The experience surpassed all our expectations. Being in the water with just fins and a mask, watching a huge rorqual whale swim right in front of us and then slowly disappear beneath us... it was an awe-inspiring moment of connection. You’re not just observing an animal; you come to understand how fortunate you are to be welcomed into its world. A big thank you to Samin, Zuzana, and our boat driver for this magical experience. We were blown away by the boat driver’s keen eyes, spotting cetaceans on the horizon with incredible precision. Huge thanks to Samin for his deep knowledge of whale behavior, which helped us encounter these magnificent creatures under the best conditions. And a special shoutout to Zuzana for her kindness and the outstanding quality of her videos—nothing phases her, even when she loses her mask while jumping into the water! These videos will provide us with memories for a lifetime. Lastly, we appreciate all the delicious snacks shared during the trip, a thoughtful detail that made the adventure even more enjoyable.     Unforgettable Snorkeling with Turtles

    This snorkeling adventure with turtles was definitely one of the best parts of my journey in Sri Lanka. Zuzana, our guide, was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable. She kicked things off by sharing insights about turtle history, various species, and their lifecycles, which significantly enriched the experience. She highlighted how many tour groups in the area unfortunately touch the turtles, which can lead to stress and infections for them. I appreciated her focus on interacting with the turtles in a safe and sustainable manner. Her enthusiasm for these creatures was evident from the beginning. We spent around 45 minutes in the water, where we encountered several green sea turtles, along with various fish and even some eels. It was truly an unforgettable experience. After our time in the water, she offered us snacks and we engaged in a discussion about free diving and marine conservation. As a thoughtful gesture, she even presented us with small felt turtle plushies as a farewell gift. Overall, it was a remarkable experience from beginning to end.

    Fantastic Snorkelling Experience with Samin

    We had a great time snorkelling with Samin, who was wonderful. They showed great care for the marine life and were attentive not to disturb them at all. As someone who's not a strong swimmer and has a fear of deep water, I appreciated how patient and calming Samin and his team were. They helped me feel more at ease. We got to see many turtles up close, along with various fish and some coral. Talking with Samin was a delight; his passion for wildlife really shone through. I would absolutely recommend this team.
