Fantastic! The organization, the on-land training, and the in-water practice were all outstanding. The Big Boss communicates clearly in both Russian and excellent English. I believe he mainly covers the theory on the shore, including a warm-up and sand practice. After that, you get to practice in the water with the instructors. It's a lot of fun!

My first lesson at this school was fantastic, thanks to an excellent instructor—I just can’t recall his name, though he was wearing a black Panama hat. However, during my second visit, a different instructor, who seemed to be the head instructor, appeared completely disinterested in the class. He spent most of his time flirting with the girls in the water and didn’t introduce any new techniques, so I ended up having to ask for something different myself. Overall, I was not satisfied. To sum it up, be selective with your instructors and try a few different ones.

The staff were extremely rude. They started mocking my accent when all I wanted to know was the cost of renting a surfboard. This situation lasted for several minutes, and I was taken aback by their behavior. I strongly advise against using this surf school, as there are many other excellent options in the area. Update: I can't respond to the owner's comment, but their statement is completely false. We never even discussed a price because of their rudeness. Their dishonesty is totally unnecessary and just another reason to avoid this surf school.

I had a great experience with three lessons, each lasting around an hour and a half, priced at 6,000 rupees. This cost covers the board, jacket, and zinc, along with a thorough briefing on the beach before the first lesson. While I don't have anything to compare it to, I'm quite pleased with the instruction. There are numerous schools at Narigama Beach, but I decided on this one based on its reviews and overall look. I preferred to communicate in English with the instructors for comfort, but they can also provide basic instruction in Russian if requested.

This is a solid surfing school where the instructors cover the theory on land before you jump into the water for practice. I mainly worked with coach Nadine, who is a fantastic instructor. She takes her job seriously, addresses mistakes, and continually presents challenges to help you improve. I was able to stand on the board during my very first lesson, and by lesson five, I could see clear progress. However, it's important to remember that everyone's experience is unique, so approach it with an open mind and pay attention to yourself and the coaches. The instructors are locals and have limited conversational Russian; they use mostly isolated phrases. Basic English will definitely make communication easier, which worked well for me. I'm grateful to all the instructors and wish the school ongoing success!

During my brief visit, I took two lessons with them. They are extremely professional and pay close attention to explaining every detail while offering useful tips for improvement. The courses are tailored to your skill level. I was genuinely pleased with how well they cared for me! Additionally, they ensured I had a great time while prioritizing safety. I had a fantastic surfing lesson! The instructor was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Since it was my second lesson, he shared a lot about the sport, including warm-up techniques and other helpful tips for safely enjoying this amazing activity! The staff who watched over us in the water were also very professional, friendly, and pleasant. I highly recommend everyone to take a lesson at this excellent surf school!

I wish I had read the reviews before going; I would have avoided this place! As noted before, the instructor covers the theory on land, but once in the water, you're left with someone who only says "ready" and "get up." I can speak English just fine, but he doesn't address my mistakes or explain what I'm doing wrong. It's impossible to learn this way. The overall approach feels very unprofessional. To make matters worse, the training area has rocks on the bottom, and I ended up breaking my whole foot on them.
