I want to express the amazing feelings we experienced during our vacation in Sri Lanka! We rented a villa, but what we got was so much more – an adventure, new skills, and a genuine sense of being welcomed. The highlight of our stay was our host, Tony. He wasn't just a reliable landlord; he was a warm and friendly person who became a true friend during our time on the island. From the start, we knew we were in great hands. On our first day, when we were completely lost and had no idea where to go, Tony took the time to show us around and even accompanied us grocery shopping, guiding our choices. This set a positive tone for the rest of our vacation. When you need assistance in an unfamiliar place, whether it’s simple advice or real support, and you receive it, that's invaluable. With Tony, we always felt that support. Thanks to him, we engaged with Sri Lanka in a meaningful way. He crafted the ideal adventure itinerary for us. Our experience with Tony included: 1. Watching whales, dolphins, and elephants: Tony organized these excursions perfectly, at the best times. Witnessing these ocean giants and elephants in their natural environment was truly unforgettable! 2. Beginner surfing with the best instructor! This was one of our main goals, and we were incredibly fortunate that our host is a surfing expert. Tony provided us with a personal lesson. He was remarkably patient, attentive, and motivating. His clear and practical explanations allowed us to stand on the board on our first attempt, and we had a fantastic time without any fear. It wasn't just a lesson; it became one of the most memorable experiences of our lives! 3. Snorkeling. Tony didn't just take us to the water; as an experienced guide, he led us to the top spots with vibrant underwater life, pointed out what to look for, and ensured our complete safety. Swimming among corals and colorful fish under his guidance was an entirely different level of diving. As for the villa itself: it was cozy, clean, well-equipped, and had a breathtaking view from the window along with a pool that lit up at night. The villa’s location was a retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle, allowing us to fully absorb the island’s atmosphere. If you're looking to do more than just rent a place and want to immerse yourself in the magic of Sri Lanka, learn to surf with a pro, safely explore the underwater wonders, and know that you'll have support whenever needed, this is the place for you.
