    Authentic Sri Lankan Gem

    Having been open for just three months, this independently owned spot serves up authentic, made-to-order Sri Lankan dishes along with some beloved classics. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it our regular stop in Talpe! Our top picks include the Sri Lankan curry, Kottu, and Chicken fried rice. The coconut and lime juice is simply fantastic! We really adore this place.

    Charming spot with great food

    What a delightful little place! We enjoyed mixed rice, a chicken burger 🍔 accompanied by perfectly crispy French fries, and a refreshing watermelon juice 🍹. Everything was delicious and fulfilling. Though the venue is small, it’s clean and tidy, creating a cozy atmosphere. The staff were fantastic — always cheerful, courteous, and very welcoming. Excellent food at a reasonable price. I would definitely love to come back! ♥️

    Charming spot near Thalpe Beach

    This delightful new restaurant is conveniently located right next to Thalpe Beach. After exploring the natural rock pools, I decided to stop by and had an excellent experience. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel at ease immediately. I ordered a tropical bowl and chicken fried rice, both of which were freshly made and delicious. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, featuring a stylish and cozy interior. It's clear that they’ve put thought into creating a pleasant atmosphere since it’s a new establishment. If you’re in the area visiting the Thalpe natural pools or strolling along the beach, this is definitely a great place to grab a bite.

    Disappointing lunch at Thalpe beach

    I visited this spot for lunch while at Thalpe beach, and I have to say, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in the area. The Kottuh was bland and dry, and my friends' dishes were equally disappointing. While the staff was friendly, the service was quite slow. Plus, the restaurant is located right on the street, resulting in a lot of traffic noise. I really can't recommend it for food.

    Delicious dinner with friendly service

    We visited for dinner and found that the menu had limited options remaining, but what we chose was really tasty. We had the pasta with cream and garlic prawns along with some fries! The service was prompt, likely because we were the only customers at the time. The staff member was very friendly.
