This dive center is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I earned my PADI Advanced certification with Shan, and it was an amazing experience. I always felt safe and at ease during my dives. The equipment provided was top-notch. They kept me updated on visibility conditions and always checked if I was comfortable or if we needed to adjust our plans. I highly recommend this place.

I had a fantastic time diving with the team at Dive For You Hikkaduwa! The entire crew was friendly and professional, making everything easy and well-organized. This dive center is fantastic, featuring a super friendly team. I got my Open Water Diver certification here and was really pleased with my instructor, Udee. His calm and approachable demeanor made learning enjoyable. He explained everything clearly and in good English. Before starting, I could easily reach out with questions via WhatsApp and got quick replies. I highly recommend this place!

They seem to be trying to squeeze money out of you. Even if you have all the necessary certifications and experience for diving, you're still required to do an "evaluation dive" in order to participate in fun dives. This is different from a "refresh dive," which would be expected after a long break from diving.

I arranged a diving session with Dive for You in Hikkaduwa for my 14-year-old son, who had been eager to dive again since our arrival in Sri Lanka. This was his second dive, meaning he had some basic skills but still needed some guidance and support. We were staying at Hikka Tranz, and the dive center was conveniently located just a short stroll from the pool area. Upon arrival, we met the dive masters and discussed our options. Because my son isn't fully licensed yet, they proposed a supported session that began with a quick refresher in the pool before heading out to sea. Everything was explained clearly, which helped me feel confident from the start. I was invited to join the boat since my son was the only diver at that moment, and I’m glad I accepted. Watching from the boat allowed me to see how the team operated, and I can genuinely say this was a five-star, professional service. While waiting, I noticed other diving groups nearby, which made me appreciate even more that we had chosen the right team. The staff at Dive for You were attentive, experienced, and highly focused on safety at all times. They consistently tracked my son and the dive master throughout the dive, maintaining constant visual awareness. In contrast, I observed other groups where that same level of attention was lacking. The team had all the necessary equipment, including backup gear and proper first aid supplies. They anchored the boat carefully and kept a close watch on the dive location. It was reassuring to see such professionalism. My son’s dive lasted about 42 minutes, reaching a depth of around 12 meters. Overall, the session was roughly 2 hours, including the pool practice. My son surfaced exactly where the team had anticipated, showcasing their expertise and control. Another wonderful aspect was that the team recorded the dive with their GoPro and shared the footage with us, making the experience even more memorable and providing us with something to cherish. In summary, this was a worthwhile investment. The quality of service, safety standards, and overall experience were outstanding. It was an unforgettable experience for my son, and as a parent, it gave me complete peace of mind. Regrettably, I didn’t catch the names of the three team members, including the dive master, but I’d like to extend my gratitude to them all. This was one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend this experience, and we will certainly return during our next visit.
