    Great value massage experience

I had a fantastic 70-minute full body massage and loved every second of it. The room was dimly lit, creating the perfect atmosphere, and although the oil had a distinct scent, I didn't mind it at all. At just 5000 rupees, or £12.50, it was a steal compared to the hotel where I stayed, where they charged £65 for a 75-minute massage. I only wish I had discovered this place earlier, rather than just two days before heading home. The price also included pick-up and drop-off from my hotel in Negombo.

    Relaxing massage experience in Negombo

We visited for the 75-minute full body massage and it was fantastic. They arranged for all three of us to receive our massages simultaneously and even provided a complimentary driver to pick us up from our accommodation. The session began with an oil massage of the head and temples, followed by the full body treatment. The pressure wasn't too intense, and they used plenty of oil but made sure to wipe it off once finished. We left feeling extremely relaxed and even purchased a wonderfully scented cream. I highly recommend this place for a massage in Negombo.

    Disappointing Massage Experience

I visited for a massage based on my hotel’s recommendation, which was prominently displayed in the lobby. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst massage experience I’ve ever had during my travels, and the worst in Sri Lanka. The oil they used was truly unpleasant; it had a strong, offensive smell, and I was covered in it. After returning to my hotel, I spent 30 minutes in the shower, washed my clothes twice, and am now preparing to wash my hair again. I had booked a 75-minute full body massage, but it ended 10 minutes early, and I'm certain that a portion of that time was spent cleaning off the oil. Despite this, they still expected me to pay the full price of 6600 rupees. I voiced my concerns and was offered a 10-minute foot massage as a consolation, which I declined since the therapist should have delivered the full 75 minutes as promised. Eventually, the price was reduced to 6100 rupees. I would not recommend this place at all.

    Relaxing Full-Body Massage Experience

We booked a full-body massage for two and had a wonderful time! The venue is stunning and serene. The staff members are incredibly friendly, and they really listen to your requests and feedback, as long as you communicate them clearly.

    Outstanding stay with excellent services

Jasmine Village is a fantastic place to stay, and the deluxe rooms are exceptional. We initially stumbled upon it for an afternoon massage and were genuinely impressed by the quality. Later, we found out about their daily treatment programs, which offer three hours of Ayurvedic therapies, always including a full-body massage. This led us to return to Negombo at the end of our trip, where we booked a three-day package that included accommodation. The deluxe rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you could need. The staff is incredibly friendly and always eager to assist. The owner's family is very welcoming, and the owner speaks fluent German. The beach is not far away at all. The area is peaceful and enjoyable, with a pool on-site, and there's a free drop-off service to the beach during the day if you wish to go.

Friendly staff and great Ayurveda treatments

Chamod and the entire team are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I felt welcomed right from the start. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. While the location is somewhat quiet and a bit removed, there are plenty of restaurants within a short walking distance. I highly recommend the treatments at the Ayurveda center. It's a calm, tidy, and beautiful place. The massages are excellent, and the staff is also very pleasant. This is a great spot to stay for the first or last days of your trip, as the airport is only about a 20-minute drive away.

Pleasant stay but room noise issues

Overall, our hotel stay was enjoyable. The property is stunning, tidy, and well-kept. We particularly liked the spacious, clean swimming pool and the option for a massage, which enhanced our experience. The staff were mostly friendly and courteous, making us feel welcomed. Nonetheless, we encountered some problems that impacted our visit. The room lacked soundproofing, and we struggled to sleep due to loud outside noises. Additionally, there were some organizational hiccups. When we inquired at the front desk about breakfast timing, we were informed it started at 7:00 AM. However, upon our arrival, the staff seemed confused and initially requested payment for breakfast, even though it was included in our reservation. After we clarified this, they mentioned it would be ready in 10–15 minutes. Given that we had an early flight, we were in a rush. Ultimately, we ended up waiting 45 minutes for breakfast, which added unnecessary stress, and we had to urge the taxi driver to speed up. Despite these setbacks, the hotel remains very nice, clean, and well-maintained. With improved organization and better soundproofing, it could be an outstanding place to stay.

    Great Stay at Jasmin Villa

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Jasmin Villa. After a long flight, they allowed me to check into my room right away at no extra charge, which was a nice surprise. The room was beautiful, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was truly delicious. I had rice and curry for dinner one night, and it was fantastic. I also appreciated the Ayurvedic spa—I treated myself to two massages during my stay, and they were amazing! I had a therapist named Nilusha (not sure about the spelling), and she was exceptional. Keep in mind that this is a traditional Ayurvedic center, so if you're looking for essential oils and similar treatments, you won’t find them here. The rooms are simple but lovely, and I personally didn’t mind the scent of the oil. Don't let some of the negative reviews put you off; this place is really charming. As a solo female traveler, I felt very comfortable here.

    Exceptional Service Experience

Outstanding service! They arranged a complimentary car to pick us up from our hotel nearby. When I had to cancel my massage at the last moment due to an urgent phone call, they waived the fee, even though I offered to pay.

Great massage experience at a good value

I enjoyed a 75-minute massage priced at 6,600 rupees, which came with hotel pickup and drop-off — a fantastic deal. There were three of us sharing a room, and it was well-organized and perfectly fine. The oil used was a traditional herbal Ayurvedic blend. While it has a strong scent, it’s evidently very effective. They recommend leaving it on for at least an hour afterward to fully absorb and gain the benefits — definitely worth it. The male therapists were exceptional. My therapist quickly pinpointed all my trouble spots and worked on them with great skill and depth. The pressure was just right throughout the session, and the treatment was conducted with total professionalism. I would certainly come back and highly recommend this spa. Although I've seen remarks regarding the oil's smell, having a basic understanding of Ayurveda helps you appreciate its use and benefits. Honestly, this was the best therapist I’ve experienced anywhere in Sri Lanka.
