I found the prices of certain medications at City Pharmacy to be exorbitant when compared to other pharmacies. For instance, I purchased 30 tablets of a specific medicine for Rs.8080 there, while the same product and quantity only cost me Rs.5670 at a different pharmacy.

Be cautious when using cards for payment, as they often charge more than the actual bill. Always verify your bill and the payment receipt. I reported an issue about this last week, and they claimed to have refunded the extra amount to the account I provided, but that never happened. When I inquired about the refund the following week, the staff responded unprofessionally and sent me a screenshot of a payment instead of a proper receipt. It seems they missed a digit in my account number. When I called their hotline to address this mistake, the man who answered said, 'We are very busy here' and hung up without giving me a proper response. I had to call back and deal with someone who wouldn’t acknowledge the error and failed to assist me appropriately. I recommend going to the “New Loyed” pharmacy instead, even if it's a busier spot.

I've been visiting this place for four years now. They've supported my family and me tremendously since we moved here. The owners are wonderful, and the staff is incredibly helpful, providing outstanding service. Plus, it's worth noting that they have the best-stocked pharmacy in Galle! I wholeheartedly recommend it.

When you purchase medicine from this place, they don't just check it once or twice; they go over it three or four times and assure you it's fine, only to have someone with medical knowledge double-check it again. A significant portion of the medicine they provide is incorrect. Despite their reassurances after checking, it remains problematic. The service is extremely poor.

This pharmacy provided nearly expired medication to elderly customers. When we raised concerns, they nonchalantly stated that consuming expired medicine for a few months wouldn’t cause any issues, which is highly irresponsible. Upon asking for fresh medication, they claimed it was unavailable and instead attempted to sell alternative products at a higher price. To top it off, when we sought a refund, they didn’t return the full amount. This behavior is incredibly disappointing and unethical, especially in the context of caring for older individuals.
