During our three-week trip, we enjoyed the best Sri Lankan food here! We both ordered the vegetable rice and curry, which was incredibly flavorful and paired perfectly with the fluffy white rice. The poppadums were delightfully crispy. The service was excellent and very friendly. We would certainly return. Additionally, the restrooms were exceptionally clean.

We discovered this restaurant on Google Maps and were eager to try it after reading all the glowing reviews, and we were truly impressed! It definitely deserves a 5/5 rating. The food is both fresh and authentic, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. If you're in the mood for local cuisine, you should definitely give this place a shot 🙏❤️

We had an amazing dining experience towards the end of the season in Hikkaduwa. Everything we ordered was made fresh and to our liking. We enjoyed a variety of curries, including chicken and egg, along with sambal, okra, and dahl, all of which were absolutely delightful. Since we love spicy food, we requested the Sri Lankan spice levels, as otherwise, the dishes tend to be milder. The service was wonderful, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. It felt like we were enjoying a true home-cooked meal with authentic Sri Lankan flavors.

If you're looking for the finest, most genuine, and freshest Sri Lankan cuisine, this is definitely the spot. It's a family-owned establishment where the owner also offers cooking classes, and they serve dinner in the evenings. They typically take around 40 minutes to prepare your order, which they inform you about in advance. We sampled the vegetable curry, egg curry, and chicken curry -- everything was excellent, including the salads. We really hope this review helps others discover this hidden gem!

This afternoon, we participated in a cooking class and it was absolutely fantastic! We learned to prepare a range of Sri Lankan dishes. The staff were warm and welcoming, guiding us through every step of the cooking process. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
