Great cafe near Turtle Beach

The prices are very reasonable and the service is outstanding. The food was delicious and truly incredible. We chose this cafe after reading reviews in the chat, and we were not disappointed! If I recall correctly, the owner frequently checked in to see if we were enjoying our meal. They even treated us to coffee, ice cream, and chips on the house. I'm thrilled with the experience and would recommend it to everyone. It's conveniently located near Turtle Beach.

Wonderful Beachside Dining Experience

I recently dined at a charming beachside restaurant, and it was such a fantastic experience. The vibe was calming, with the sound of the waves and a stunning ocean view that truly enhanced the meal. The food was incredibly tasty. Each dish was bursting with flavor and tasted fresh, particularly the seafood. You can really sense the effort that goes into preparing the meals. Great food and generous portions

The portions here are huge and absolutely delicious. I appreciated being able to choose unspiced dishes to help my digestion after getting used to the local cuisine. 🙌 I highly recommend the tuna steak. They also provided nice little extras like tea and fruit.

Delicious food in Hikkaduwa!

This is absolutely the best spot for tasty food in Hikkaduwa! I've tried all the places here, and this one stands out as the best. I highly recommend coming here to sample everything on the menu—it was all so delicious! The owner and the staff are fantastic too!

Exceptional Seafood and Warm Hospitality

During our trip to Hikkaduwa in April, we dined at Rustic Roots, and despite the delay in writing this review, I felt it was important to share our experience. After traveling to the southern region, we sought a restaurant offering good seafood, fair prices, and a welcoming vibe. Rustic Roots exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The owner and his son were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed the experience so much that we promised to come back the next day, which we did. After several days of seafood platters and beachside dining, we were eager for a genuine homemade Sri Lankan meal. They graciously prepared a comforting feast featuring hot rice, flavorful fish curry, pappadam, and authentic homemade tastes that reminded us of home. For me, a restaurant's true worth lies not just in the decor but in the quality of the food and the care shown by the staff. Rustic Roots delivered on both fronts. If you're in Hikkaduwa, skip the pricey restaurants with fancy interiors. For amazing food, reasonable prices, and heartfelt hospitality, I strongly recommend Rustic Roots. Food: 10/10 Service: 10+/10 Value for money: Excellent On my next visit to Hikkaduwa, this will definitely be a place I return to.
