    Chill Spot on Flower Road

    Le Papillon is a great stop when you’re on Flower Road or just in the mood for a relaxing coffee or beer. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, and they even show air matches during the season, which adds to the pleasant vibe. While the food prices are a bit on the higher side, it's understandable given the current economic situation in the country. For lunch, we usually opt for the Chicken Cheese Kottu and the Crispy Chicken Rice. Both dishes are delicious and I highly recommend them. The Chicken Cheese Kottu is priced at Rs. 1700 and the Crispy Chicken Rice at Rs. 1900. We also enjoyed some Crystal beers at Rs. 700 each. Parking is available right in front of the cafe on Flower Road. The staff are friendly and attentive, ready to fulfill your requests. This has become one of our favorite spots, and I would definitely recommend it. Overall, I’d rate my experience at Le Papillon an 8 out of 10.

    Exceptional Service and Luxurious Stay

    Arun, the manager, was fantastic! He was kind, polite, and incredibly helpful. He assisted us with our airport transfer and consistently ensured we had a wonderful stay. |||| The room was incredible! It was clean and luxurious, definitely an ideal way to conclude our two-week trip.

    Amazing Honeymoon Stay in Colombo

    During our honeymoon, we spent a few nights in Colombo and were truly impressed by everything! The room's decor was beautiful, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the service provided by the staff was impeccable. The restaurant served excellent food, which was perfect for us as we wanted a laid-back beginning to our honeymoon. I’ll definitely be sharing our wonderful experience at Le Papillon when we return to London! Thank you for making our trip memorable!

    Chill spot with decent food

    The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff are very friendly. I've visited multiple times just for the food, and I've consistently had a positive experience. It's a lovely place to relax, thanks to the tasteful decor and soft lighting. The staff are helpful but also give you space, which I really appreciate in any venue. As for the food, it's solid—neither outstanding nor terrible. The prices are reasonable for the area. I have to highlight the blueberry waffles; they are genuinely delicious.

    Hotel No Longer Exists

    The hotel is no longer in operation! I made a reservation through Trip.com, but when I arrived, I discovered that it hasn’t been a hotel for over a year. The restaurant might have potential, but the listing is outdated. There’s no hotel here! Beware to avoid losing money on a non-existent booking!

    Great Family Spot for Authentic Chinese Food

    This is a fantastic spot for a family outing if you're looking for an authentic Chinese dining experience! They have Private Dining rooms equipped with mahjong tables, and the food is truly incredible. Authentic Chinese cuisine at its best!

    Great stay in Colombo's Embassy district

    This hotel boasts an excellent location and has friendly, attentive staff (as of Nov 2018). It's well-kept and situated right in the heart of Colombo 07 and the Embassy district, making it perfect for a short two-night stay. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Plus, Isso, a fantastic prawn restaurant, is just a two-minute walk away. I would definitely come back to this hotel.
