Comfortable wellness center with access issues

Visiting this wellness center is quite a pleasant experience. The design is appealing, and there are comfortable sofas for patients to relax on. However, the male restrooms are located on the first floor, requiring the use of stairs, which might be challenging for older individuals. Additionally, the space is shared with other businesses, making parking difficult, and there are no clear guidelines regarding where to park. Moreover, the hospital fees are quite steep!

Stylish but Not Family-Friendly

The hospital has a stylish and attractive appearance, but it's lacking in functionality, especially for parents with children. There’s a grand piano that serves no purpose, yet there’s no designated area for mothers to breastfeed privately or change diapers. When I inquired about such facilities, the administrator directed me to the women’s restroom. Seriously? Have you ever tried changing a diaper in a public restroom? It's unacceptable for babies to be exposed to such unsanitary conditions. Additionally, the first-floor restroom is out of order, making it a hassle to navigate the second floor with a stroller. The administrator also couldn't provide quick assistance regarding the hospital's schedule or appointments with other doctors, further adding to my frustration.

Disappointed by facility changes

As regular visitors to the Ninewells Family Wellness Center, we often bring our baby along. Previously, there was a dedicated breastfeeding room complete with a diaper-changing area, but it has unfortunately been removed following recent renovations. When we inquired about a breastfeeding space, the woman at the counter informed us that they no longer offer one and instead directed us to a consultation room, which is only suitable for breastfeeding and not diaper changes. This is quite inconvenient since young babies typically require frequent diaper changes. We pay higher fees at this center compared to the main Ninewells Hospital because we anticipate better amenities. This change has left us feeling quite disappointed. We urge you to reinstate a proper room that includes both breastfeeding and diaper-changing facilities.

Outstanding care from Dr. Mubarak

I'm writing this review for Dr. Mubarak at Ninewells Wellness Centre, where he serves as a Physio/Pain Manager. He truly ranks among the best doctors I've encountered. He provides excellent care to his patients even after the initial appointment. His follow-up care and tailored treatment approach make him an exceptional doctor.

Distraction for Parents

Overall, wellness is great here. However, having an open toy store right in the middle is a hassle for parents trying to manage their kids. It would be better to have a covered area instead.
