We had a wonderful time at this hotel, and it certainly deserves its stellar reputation. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive during our visit, greeting us with genuine smiles and going above and beyond to help with our needs. Their level of service truly enhanced our experience, making us feel appreciated and at ease. The food was fantastic and quite affordable, which was a nice surprise. We were particularly impressed that they didn’t charge extra for the kids’ breakfasts, reflecting their genuine generosity and commitment to customer satisfaction. We had a lovely time during our stay! The location is stunning and the rooms are gorgeous. Just a heads up for future visitors: the road leading in is quite steep, so be cautious if you're driving yourself. Additionally, the swimming pool was too chilly for a dip while we were there. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Haputale; we came for the cool, delightful weather and the fantastic view from our balcony ⛰️. A really nice, cozy hotel!

This is the best hotel we’ve experienced in Sri Lanka. The comfort, food, views, and the staff who are knowledgeable, kind, and genuine truly stood out. Both breakfast and dinner were outstanding, featuring plenty of vegetables sourced from their own garden beside the hotel. Their suggestion to visit Lipton’s Seat at dawn and arranging a Tuk Tuk for a very reasonable round trip was perfect. Haputale is peaceful and surrounded by breathtaking countryside and tea plantations. Overall, it was idyllic.

We spent two nights here, which wasn’t enough—ideally, five nights would be perfect. The hotel's location is fantastic, offering breathtaking views from every angle. The staff are incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast included in our package. However, the Sri Lankan breakfast didn’t come with fruit, which was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, they also didn’t clean our room during our stay, even though we were there for more than one night, but that was fine with us. In the reception area, there’s a large poster showcasing nearby attractions worth visiting. The hotel is about a 400-500 meter walk to the restaurant. They do offer dinner as well, but you need to inform them by 5 PM in advance. I highly recommend this hotel. There’s still some room for improvement, like adding entertainment options such as a billiard table or swings. I look forward to returning for another stay.

Although we were only there for one night, we had a wonderful time. The spacious room was beautifully decorated and offered an amazing view of the tea plantation. The bed provided great comfort, and the shower was top-notch. We particularly enjoyed the infinity pool and had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Most importantly, our hosts made us feel very welcomed and well cared for.

This place offers stunning views of the mountains from our modern-style rooms, along with excellent service, a pool, and an onsite restaurant. Manager Gamini and his dedicated team truly went the extra mile to ensure our stay was unforgettable. The location is also convenient, just a short distance from the center of this charming town.
