This is the most welcoming hotel we've ever stayed in. Located in the hills with stunning views over Kandy, this small family-run hotel offers outstanding food and unmatched service. This is a lovely spot, though it may feel a bit pricey compared to similar hotels in Sri Lanka, especially since the rooms are starting to show their age. However, it's wonderful to have access to the sauna and steam room, particularly since the mountain area can get quite cold in the evenings, even in February. The restaurant is excellent as well.

I'm puzzled by the high rating. The photos are deceiving; the hotel doesn't resemble them at all. In reality, everything appears old and worn-out. The room I stayed in was large, but that's about the only positive aspect.
