This was our first stop in the South, and it was a delightful experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff was both friendly and helpful. Although the location felt a bit odd at first, it turned out to be preferable to the noisy road. It's only a short 5-minute walk to the beach. Overall, it was definitely worth it! :))

We stayed at Jungle View the week before last during our trip to Sri Lanka. The location is ideal, with the beach just a short walk away, along with cafes and markets. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bathrooms are well-kept. However, we did notice some ants crawling around in our room, which was a bit of a hassle since we had our luggage on the floor. The area is lovely, not exactly jungle-like but surrounded by lush greenery that adds to the beauty of the hotel. The staff is friendly, and they even have a yoga shala. Overall, the property is serene and worth considering. Just be sure to check for ants or any similar issues; otherwise, it's all pretty good.

I didn't stay at this hotel, but I attended a yoga class on Monday morning. The opening flow was thoughtfully arranged, and I really appreciated the extended meditation and the selected asanas. It was clear that Caro is a skilled teacher; she demonstrated poses and came over a few times to help with alignment. The shala itself is lovely, located on the upper floor of the hotel with a nice view of the trees.

The yoga classes and the venue are fantastic! I highly recommend the coffee and breakfast offered at the restaurant. It's a nice touch that they provide water for refilling your bottles. My room was decent; it was located just outside the main jungle property but still quite close. I did find communication with the reception a bit challenging, and responses through phone or booking messages were somewhat slow. Overall, I would recommend this place and would love to return! :)

I popped in for a bite after my yoga class in the studio above. The food was delightful, and the staff were incredibly friendly. This was my only ‘western’ style meal during my time in Sri Lanka, and it was fantastic. The avocado and eggs had a nice kick to them.

We enjoyed a lovely and clean room equipped with AC and a fan. The bathroom was quite spacious, and the staff were very friendly. It's just a short walk to the beach, and there's an affordable gym close by! I would definitely recommend this place! ☺️ I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the wifi situation. We hardly had any connectivity in our room. It showed a connection but was completely unusable, and when it did work, it was too slow to be practical. I ended up using my phone data while in the room. The staff made attempts to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, nothing changed.

My partner and I had a fantastic experience at the Jungle View. The quality of our room was impressive—it felt peaceful, clean, and well-built. After enjoying nearby amenities like the beach, gym, spas, cafes, and restaurants, it was a pleasure to return to our cool, spacious room to relax on the comfy bed or enjoy the balcony. We found it to be an excellent value for what we saw in Mirissa. We hope to return someday. A big thank you to the friendly staff for making it a perfect 10/10 experience!
