Disappointing Seafood Chop Suey Rice
I ordered both the Large and Regular Seafood Chop Suey Rice, hoping for a flavorful meal, but what I received was truly disappointing and fell far short of my expectations. An ideal chop suey rice should feature a rich, glossy gravy alongside well-cooked seafood and vegetables served over fried rice. Unfortunately, this dish resembled boiled rice topped with watery, bland veggies, lacking both gravy and seafood. The shrimp and squid were not cooked properly and seemed undercooked. The potatoes, carrots, and other vegetables were tough and not adequately boiled or cooked, which made the dish unenjoyable. The signature thick and flavorful chop suey gravy was nearly absent, leaving the dish dry and tasteless. The seafood was alarmingly sparse for a dish called “Seafood Chop Suey,” while the vegetables were bulky, unevenly chopped, and poorly prepared. In summary, the dish felt low-quality and poorly executed, and it wasn't worth the price, regardless of the portion size I ordered. I was particularly let down by the seafood and vegetables that were not cooked properly. I certainly cannot recommend this place if you're in search of well-cooked, flavorful, and satisfying chop suey rice.
