Charming stay at Tamarind Hill
Our visit to Galle was quite spontaneous, and we ended up booking Tamarind Hill last minute via Agoda. We were looking for a place that had history and charm instead of just a typical modern "luxury hotel," and Tamarind Hill truly delivered on that front.

Charming Historic Hotel Experience
This hotel, which dates back 150 years and was once the harbour master's residence, exudes colonial grandeur, complete with an antique fan above the dinner table. It feels much more refined compared to the cookie-cutter hotels constructed by corporations. Without a doubt, it was our favorite hotel during our two-week journey across the island.

Charming Hotel with Friendly Vibes
I really enjoy this hotel. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are beautiful. If you appreciate tranquility and observing wildlife, this place is great! The only minor drawback is the absence of a bar, but you're welcome to bring your own drinks, and the hotel provides glasses and ice buckets.
