Beautiful homestay near the beach

This lovely homestay is ideally situated just moments from the beach and right next to the fantastic Rock Ocean Cafe! The host is incredibly friendly and speaks German as well. We had such a wonderful experience that we decided to extend our stay, as Tangalle truly offers the perfect environment for relaxation with stunning views all around!

Great Atmosphere and Ocean View

This was our second visit, and we’re really fond of this place! The billiards with an ocean view, the humorous owner and his friend, and the fantastic atmosphere all make it special. You quickly connect with others while playing billiards. The owner cooked a fish for a friend, and it was incredibly tasty! If you're looking for a lovely spot, this is it. We plan to return for more beach time. The Long Beach area, with its charming little restaurants, is also delightful and not crowded with tourists. You’ll enjoy it here!

Lovely seaside spot to unwind

The owner was super friendly, and the atmosphere was so laid-back and refreshing. It was an ideal place to relax with a drink while taking in the beautiful seaside view. The sound of the waves added to the experience. Our family had a wonderful time during our vacation on September 13th, 2025.

Great beach bar experience

This is a cool bar located right by the beach, offering tasty cocktails and an excellent pool table. You can enjoy a drink, take a swim, and then relax with the owners, who are wonderful people. It was definitely a highlight of my time in Tangalle.

Chilled Vibes and Great Music

Putha, the owner, is wonderful and laid-back, creating a great atmosphere with excellent vibes and some fantastic rock & roll music while you enjoy the pool table. The gin and tonics are superb. I didn't stay in the rooms, but I'm sure they would be delightful. Thanks for a great time! Come visit, we love it here. Love from team Australia ❤️

Highly recommended for amazing food

I've visited this place countless times and I can't recommend it enough. The owner and three staff members, including the chef Pradeep, create simply outstanding dishes. The variety is impressive, and the food is cooked to perfection. They truly excel at what they do.

Relaxing beach dinner experience

Sunchaser offered a wonderfully calm atmosphere, making it a truly relaxing stay for me. I brought a guest along, and we both felt very much at home. The food was outstanding; we enjoyed a fantastic seafood dinner on the beach. The staff and overall experience were exceptional. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to others. Additionally, their laundry service was clean and efficient, which was a relief for my guest who didn't want to search for a laundromat nearby. Overall, it’s a solid 10/10 and one of the best beach restaurants in Tango! ❤️💯
