You have a surfing spot right in front, accessible for everyone from novices to experts, and you can surf barefoot straight from your room! There are plenty of dining options, along with supermarkets and ATMs close by, making it a convenient inn. Plus, the air conditioner is new, ensuring comfort at a lower price compared to other hotels!

This is definitely the best spot in Hikkaduwa! I spent almost three weeks here after exploring various accommodations, and I truly fell in love with this place. It's right on the beach and conveniently located near everything you need. A big thanks to Sandya for her wonderful hospitality and her constant willingness to help! I will definitely return and highly recommend it!

This hostel sits right on the beach, surrounded by several surfing spots and a variety of restaurants and sunbeds. The rooms are really comfortable and impeccably clean. Sundya and Milan are fantastic hosts—very welcoming, helpful, and laid-back, making me feel right at home. Milan, being an experienced surfer and instructor, is a great asset for those who are new to the area or just starting out. I would definitely love to come back.

I've been friends with this family for 40 years, and I can confidently say it’s a fantastic spot to stay, conveniently located near the beach and various amenities. This is the only place I would choose to learn surfing because Milan and his son are both attentive and knowledgeable. Sandya, who manages the guest house, is an outstanding hostess who always goes above and beyond. She loves to play Scrabble, which always leads to a lot of laughter. I wholeheartedly recommend this guest house and surf school.

The room was immaculate and had a private bathroom. It's conveniently located right by the beach for surfing or relaxing at the various beachside restaurants. Situated in the heart of Hikkaduwa, the host was very welcoming, making my stay enjoyable! I'd definitely recommend it! Looking forward to returning soon! :)

After organizing a flea market in Colombo, we decided to escape to Hikkaduwa for a break. We took the bus and found that many places were overpriced. When we walked into Summer Lanka, the room rate seemed fair compared to others. A guest at the entrance also mentioned that the hosts were nice, which gave us the confidence to book a room, especially since we were tired. The room was clean and equipped with an electric kettle for making coffee. The couple running the place were humble and friendly. Our stay was peaceful and worry-free. We spent two nights there, appreciating the convenient location and the nice people. Thank you, Sandya, for your great hospitality!

We discovered one of the best spots in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. Sandra, I miss you dearly! You became such a dear friend and welcomed us with immense kindness and love. We loved your cooking, and I will genuinely miss dropping by to see you work your magic in the kitchen. A heartfelt thank you to your wonderful husband and son for providing my guys with private surfing lessons—it was such a memorable experience for them. Your place was incredibly cozy, impeccably clean, and I particularly enjoyed your kitchen. I hope that next time, we can stay for a month instead of just a few weeks. We miss you, Yougottalove Family

This is a wonderful bar with warm and welcoming staff, refreshing beer, and delicious food. The local manager was extremely friendly and accommodating. We ended up visiting several times during our stay, and it quickly became one of our favorite places on the beach! Thank you, Summer Lanka; we will surely return!
