The food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, there were mix-ups with the orders. The portions were extremely small, and there was no one available to serve us. Additionally, many items on the menu were out of stock.

The food was truly tasty, but the rest of the experience fell short. Many items we wanted to order were unavailable, which was frustrating from the beginning. After finally placing our order, we waited nearly two hours for the food to come. Such a long wait is unreasonable and really impacted our dining experience. To make things worse, the portion sizes were much smaller than we anticipated and not nearly enough. Had we known about the portion sizes, we would have ordered more. Even after spending a significant amount of time and money, we left the restaurant still feeling hungry. Great food alone can't compensate for poor stock availability, long wait times, and small portions.

We tried the chicken fried rice, chicken nasi goreng, and seafood nasi goreng. The chicken fried rice and chicken nasi goreng were really delicious. However, the seafood nasi goreng was a bit too oily and had an unpleasant smell. The customer service was good; one waitress handled everything very well. On the downside, it took about half an hour to get our food after ordering, but overall, we enjoyed the meal.

Our experience was disappointing from start to finish. To begin with, the curry that was served tasted spoiled. Then, the crepes were not cleaned or prepared correctly. The presence of numerous flies made our dining experience quite unpleasant. Moreover, there was a lack of available staff to assist us. We often had to hunt for someone whenever we needed help, and the wait for service was excessively long. Ultimately, there was a complete absence of customer support, and it felt like we wasted our money. Based on our visit, I would not recommend this place.

The food was outstanding, the service was top-notch, and it truly offers an authentic taste of Jaffna. This is definitely one of the best places to eat in Jaffna. I highly recommend it! Singai Restaurant
