I was really let down. When I made my reservation, the cost was just $7. However, when I called to confirm, the woman on the phone raised the charges. This place isn't suitable for a stay at all. I'm giving it a star rating just to submit, but honestly, it was the worst experience I've ever had.

This place has significant issues. The restrooms are filthy and not well-maintained. Additionally, the bed is quite uncomfortable for sleeping. I wouldn't suggest staying here to anyone.

The management at the guest house is quite poor. I reserved a room for one night, which was priced at 4000. I paid for it without any issues. However, after midnight, the manager informed us that they needed the room back at 9:30. What were we supposed to do at that time? Ultimately, we had to search for another hotel. I wouldn't recommend going there.

I typically don’t leave reviews for stays that don’t meet expectations, but this experience was exceptionally poor. If I could, I would give it a zero. There was a spider infestation in the bathroom, and we woke up covered in bites on our legs. Throughout the night, we were disturbed by a woman who took the air conditioning unit away from us and a dog that barked incessantly. In the morning, we asked her why she had removed the air con, and she claimed we hadn’t paid the correct amount, despite it being clearly stated on booking.com. She was practically shouting at us and insisting her colleague was mistaken. While her colleague was friendly and relaxed, she was completely the opposite. I cannot recommend this place.

This was a terrible experience. The hygiene here is really lacking, with broken doors and locks. Customer service was subpar; the receptionist was quite rude. It didn't feel like a secure place at all. Upon our arrival, we found the gate and door wide open, and there was even a street dog wandering around in the guest area.

Our stay at this guest house was quite disappointing. The bed linens were dirty, the bathrooms were not hygienic, and the entire establishment seemed to be in poor condition. The receptionist was unfriendly and even aggressive, which only added to our frustration. We requested an upgraded room for a significantly higher price, hoping for an improvement, but the new room was even dirtier. At that point, we chose to leave entirely. Given the conditions, this place isn't worth any amount, and I truly question if it's operating within legal standards. I can't recommend it at all.

We made a reservation, and the woman who answered was incredibly rude. She clearly lacks basic customer service skills. In our view, it's best to avoid this place in Sri Lanka.

My stay at Colombo Sanhinda Rooms was quite unfortunate. First off, I felt extremely unsafe. While I was asleep, someone entered my room and made off with my phone and cash. Although I managed to retrieve my phone later, my money was lost for good. To make matters worse, the hotel’s CCTV cameras were not in working order, and nobody on staff was willing to take accountability. I was assured that I would receive a refund for my lost money, but now it looks like that promise won't be fulfilled. Additionally, the rooms did not resemble the photos posted online at all and were quite dirty. Given this experience, I cannot recommend staying here due to the poor security and lack of protection for guests.

I found a rate of 800 INR per night on booking.com. After booking, I called the host to confirm everything. However, once I arrived in Sri Lanka for my tour, she insisted on charging 10,000 LKR (3,000 INR per night). I showed her the booking.com details, but she panicked and told me it was too late at 8 PM, claiming no rooms would be available. She pressured me into taking a single room for 10,000 LKR! Thankfully, an auto driver named Rajesh helped me find a homestay in Colombo for 3,000 LKR, which I believe was his own house. I really appreciate Rajesh's assistance.
