Wonderful stay at Ranketha Resort

We spent two nights at Ranketha Resort during the Poson Poya long holiday and had a fantastic experience. From beginning to end, the service was outstanding. We reserved a family room that came with all the essential amenities, including a TV, hot water, bath towels, complimentary bottled water, and tea-making facilities. The quality and features of the room were on par with those found in a 5-star hotel. Additionally, the spacious lobby offered cozy sofas and fun activities like a carrom board. Everything was fresh, clean, and meticulously maintained. Another highlight is their upscale restaurant, which serves delicious meals at very affordable prices. The restaurant staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. The owners were also very hospitable, personally ensuring everything was well managed. Overall, we highly recommend Ranketha Resort and would happily return.

Disappointing Service Ruins Meal

My friend and I stopped by for a quick bite and decided to try the Mongolian rice. When we asked the server how long it would take, he assured us it would be a maximum of 10 minutes. However, we ended up waiting nearly 40 minutes. When we inquired about our order, the server seemed to have just placed it and told us to wait another 5 minutes. Still, we received nothing. The servers appeared quite inexperienced, almost confused about their roles, as if they were lost. It became frustrating to see them prioritize larger families who arrived after us while we were left waiting. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I don't plan on returning.

Great food and service experience

I had an excellent time at this restaurant. The food was tasty, the ambiance felt warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional. A special shout-out to Janith, who truly went out of his way to enhance our visit. He was incredibly kind, approachable, and attentive during our meal. His professionalism and genuine concern for guests really made an impression, and we felt very welcomed. Such outstanding customer service is rare to find.
