Outstanding Wedding Experience with Lucky

Our experience planning the wedding with Lucky from Our Wedding Sri Lanka was absolutely remarkable. Everything went off without a hitch, and Lucky organized far more than we anticipated. From choosing an exquisite wedding venue—a luxurious 5-star hotel with exceptional service at a great price—to arranging the DJ, live ceremony music, breathtaking decorations, and a beautiful ceremony right by the Indian Ocean, every detail was executed perfectly. One of the most pleasant surprises was the photo and videography team. We thought there would be just one or two people, but an entire professional crew was there to capture our special moments. Initially, we had some natural hesitations about planning a wedding remotely with someone from a completely different culture. It was challenging to trust someone with financial transactions and our vision for such a significant day. However, Lucky proved to be remarkably trustworthy and professional. Every financial detail was managed through official invoices, with no hidden fees or unexpected changes. He worked within our budget to create an extraordinary experience, truly exceeding our expectations. Meeting Lucky in person at the venue before the wedding reassured us that we made the right choice. The biggest and most delightful surprise, though, was the wedding itself. We never thought our budget could stretch to such a grand and beautifully orchestrated celebration. Originally, we hired a wedding planner from Estonia, who then connected us with Lucky and Our Wedding Sri Lanka. Together, they seamlessly coordinated our wishes and structured the entire event perfectly. We also want to commend the professionalism of the staff at The Villas Wadduwa and express our gratitude for all the wonderful people we met during our month-long stay in Sri Lanka. Having traveled throughout many countries in Asia over the years, we can confidently say that the people of Sri Lanka are among the friendliest, kindest, and most genuine we have ever encountered. The country felt incredibly safe, and we're already looking forward to our return. Who knows—perhaps Lucky will plan our 10th anniversary celebration in Sri Lanka someday!
