    Great Experience with Wisdom Tooth Extraction

    I had my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Buddika Dasanyaka, who came highly recommended by Dr. Chanaka Disanayake after a filling failed due to an infection. I was pretty anxious about needing a surgical extraction, so I delayed my appointment by two days to mentally prepare myself. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the procedure was much easier than I had anticipated. It wasn’t painful, just a bit uncomfortable at times, but entirely manageable. The only real discomfort was from the local anesthesia injection, which is typical. After the surgery, I followed the prescribed antibiotics and painkillers, and I hardly noticed when the numbness faded after about 4-5 hours. While Dr. Buddika's fees are on the higher side compared to others, I felt it was worth it for the pain-free experience! 😮‍💨

    Positive dental experience

    I had a straightforward experience here. I was looking for a dental clinic to address my broken tooth, which was damaged by a wisdom tooth, and I found this place. I made an appointment over the phone. After a brief wait, they took me in and managed everything very professionally. I'll provide an update later, but so far, everything has been great.

    Poor diagnosis and service

    Their diagnostic and testing skills are lacking. They immediately suggested a root canal and ended up taking an X-ray of the wrong tooth. The initial issue was never resolved, and when the sensitivity worsened, they again recommended a root canal since I could identify the problematic tooth. Additionally, they don't keep accurate records; even names and dates were incorrect. Their professionalism is questionable, and they seem more focused on profits than on patient care. Communication is also a challenge, as they can only reach out to you but are hard to contact otherwise.

    Great service and value for dental care

    We received outstanding professional service and were very pleased with the teeth cleaning and whitening treatments we had. The equipment did spray a bit more water on my face than I'm accustomed to, but that was a minor issue considering the excellent service and the reasonable prices compared to New Zealand. I highly recommend Dr. Fasmina Insaf and My Dentist.
