The decor is warm and lovely, and the service is top-notch. However, the area is quite undesirable, resembling a ghetto, and is bustling with locals. I recommend staying in the Marriott area, as it's much safer and more civilized there.

During my visit to Weligama, I stayed at this place and would definitely come back. The owner, Shanti, was extremely helpful with suggestions and anything else I required throughout my stay. They provide surf lessons with a personal instructor and also offer yoga classes. Breakfast was my favorite part, ideal for fueling up before surfing. I appreciate the attentive staff who took great care of us. I'm already longing for those stunning views!

We visited Surf and Stay with our family in April 2025 and had an incredible time... it was truly a taste of Slovenia! 😀 The surf guiding was excellent, even though conditions weren't always ideal. Shanti, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and often joined us in the water. A really nice touch was having her kids there to play with ours while we surfed. The surf guides, Antshu and Schantsu, were fantastic and very supportive. The sunset surfing in Mirissa was particularly breathtaking, and I felt both well cared for and appropriately challenged.
