    Great food in a lovely setting

    The atmosphere and location are superb. The food was flavorful and fresh. However, they could definitely work on enhancing their customer service.

    Delicious Lunch by the Beach

    We had a fantastic lunch at Lions Gate Polhena. The hot butter cuttlefish was incredibly tasty—crispy, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. Being right by the beach enhanced the relaxing vibe, making it a perfect place for a great meal. A big thank you to Heshan for his attentive service and warm hospitality; he ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our experience. I highly recommend Lions Gate Polhena to anyone visiting Polhena Beach!

    Great spot with tasty food

    This place boasts a fantastic location with a refreshing sea breeze. We ordered French fries, hot butter cuttlefish, Nasi goreng, and chicken fried rice. Everything was satisfying except for the Nasi. The service was decent, though during our visit, there was only one waiter on duty, and he seemed quite rushed with the orders. Overall, it’s a nice spot to relax. I would definitely recommend it.

    Exceptional seaside dining experience

    Experience outstanding dining paired with remarkable customer service at this coastal eatery. The prices are reasonable, although the place can get quite busy. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea, as it's conveniently located by the beach. While parking is limited, street parking is available. There is no air-conditioning, but the quality of the food certainly compensates for that.

    This is your cue to visit! Why delay? The service and scenery here are the finest I've experienced on the South Coast. The food is fantastic as well. You can truly sense the passion behind it. The artwork is created by a genius, simply remarkable.

    Perfect Relaxing Spot with Friends

    Lions Gate Polhena is a lovely and tranquil place. I had a wonderful time with my friends. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just right for a laid-back evening.

    Great food and service by the ocean

    We enjoyed some fantastic local cuisine along with cold beers, all while gazing at the ocean after sunset. I ordered the grilled seer fish, and my partner chose the tuna. Both dishes were cooked flawlessly and came with delicious buttery mashed potatoes. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was friendly.
