    Wonderful Hosts and Great Food

    I can't say enough good things about Cali, Justin, and their family; they were amazing hosts during my 10-day solo stay. The food was affordable, tasty, and locally sourced. The dog and kitten were very friendly, and the terrace was a lovely spot to relax in the evenings. Before I left, Justin even gifted me some fresh chilies and peppercorns from their garden to take back to England. Overall, it’s a peaceful, laid-back place with genuinely nice people. Thank you so much, everyone!

    Charming stay close to nature

    It's just a 10-minute walk to the center and the beach, yet it feels like you're surrounded by vibrant nature. Our stay was fantastic, and the owners were delightful! I highly recommend it! ✨

    Terrible Experience in Sri Lanka

    My stay in Sri Lanka was my worst experience yet. The owner kept insisting how inexpensive it was, even though it really wasn’t. The rooms had no ventilation at all, and you’re required to pay 1500/- per night for the AC, which is hardly effective since there are frequent power outages. Within half an hour of the power going out, the rooms become stuffy and hard to breathe in. There’s no backup power. The owner was incredibly rude, frequently barging into our room, and even asked us to leave in the middle of the night when we requested a better-ventilated room since we weren’t comfortable with the AC. When we reported these issues to customer service on booking.com, he came to threaten us and wouldn’t let us leave. He even wanted us to pay 2.5 dollars daily to use his kitchen, despite it being completely useless. I absolutely hated this experience. To top it all off, there was no drinking water available in or around the house.

    Wonderful stay with fantastic food

    Ahangama's top spot for a stay! It’s away from the hustle but still close to the town and beaches. The villa is lovely with roomy accommodations, plus the air conditioning and showers work perfectly! The staff are incredible and always make you feel at home. The absolute highlight is the food they prepare—it's the best we've had during our trip to Sri Lanka! We’re going to miss it! Thank you so much for everything! Niky, Fede e Camilla

    Fantastic stay with helpful owners

    This is a fantastic place to stay with an excellent location, reasonable pricing, and a wonderful room. The property is a spacious, gated, detached building surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. There's a large patio area as well. My room featured an ensuite, air conditioning, and patio doors leading to a wraparound balcony. It's conveniently within walking distance to the beach and various amenities. The owner and his family were incredibly helpful and provided plenty of information. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! 👌

    Great stay with thoughtful hosts

    After an unsatisfactory experience at another location, I was delighted to discover this place. It was quite affordable and matched the pictures perfectly. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. Even though the restaurant had closed by the time I was leaving, they thoughtfully prepared some lunch for me before my ride to the airport. They also helped me arrange a taxi that ended up being much cheaper than my original booking, which I greatly appreciated. The only minor hiccup was having to wait a little for my room to be ready due to an electricity issue during a holiday when electricians weren’t available, but that was clearly beyond the hosts’ control. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would gladly return here again.

    Friendly staff and great value

    We had a wonderful time during our stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene, conveniently located near both the beach and the town. It offers excellent value for the price and is truly worth a visit. I highly recommend it!
