The staff here are incredible and super friendly. We had a wonderful experience, and they assisted us with everything we needed. Their food was locally sourced and quite unique. Overall, we felt very welcomed and enjoyed our stay immensely. We highly recommend it to anyone, particularly families with children.

I recently had a fantastic experience at Kavin Beach Hotel in Sri Lanka, which truly surpassed my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm hospitality and meticulous attention to detail. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and unforgettable. The resort is beautifully located, offering stunning views of the Indian Ocean. My room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully adorned, providing a perfect mix of luxury and comfort. Waking up to the sound of the waves and savoring my morning coffee on the private balcony was definitely a highlight. The restaurant at the resort offered an impressive range of tasty local and international dishes, with the fresh seafood being particularly noteworthy. Additionally, the resort provides a variety of activities and excursions that allow guests to immerse themselves in the rich culture and natural beauty of Sri Lanka. I especially enjoyed the guided tours to nearby attractions and the wildlife safari, both of which were well-organized and insightful.

The owners are fantastic, and the place is modern, extremely comfortable, and impeccably clean. The wife of the owner is an excellent chef, and they both show a lot of care for their guests.

My partner and I spent a week at Kavin Beach Hotel and honestly felt like we discovered a hidden gem. Situated on a stunning, expansive beach, it’s nicely away from trains and busy tourist spots. The balcony views, particularly the sunsets, were simply amazing and became the highlight of our evenings. The rooms are spacious, brand new, and very clean, and the owners, who run the hotel as a family operation, are sincerely kind and always willing to assist with anything. Breakfast was excellent, and having sun loungers right on the beach made it even more enjoyable. We booked directly and can't recommend this place highly enough.

This place is a fantastic discovery. It's just a two-minute walk from the main high street, making it pleasantly peaceful. The host is wonderful, and the breakfast is excellent. The beach right outside is tidy and not crowded at all. During our month-long stay in Sri Lanka, this had the best air conditioning we've experienced—new, efficient, and quiet. For those from the UK, the host speaks excellent English, having previously lived in Devon and played county cricket! Overall, a fabulous stay.

This hotel is situated on a tranquil beach, making it a serene escape. It's a bit removed from the main area of Hikkaduwa, but tuk-tuks are readily available. The rooms are spacious, tidy, and equipped with all the essential amenities. I found the breakfast to be quite enjoyable and tasty. The hotel is family-run, and they truly strive to meet your needs. The staff are very welcoming, always smiling and greeting you throughout the day. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a calm place with straightforward accommodations.
