During my 2-day stay at Jaffna City Palace Hotel, I felt right at home. The staff were nice and provided excellent, friendly service. I also got to try some traditional Jaffna food. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This is a clean and affordable family-run hotel located right in the center of Jaffna. It's conveniently close to the A9 and local amenities. The food was tasty and prepared according to our requests. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Initially, I had my doubts due to the limited number of reviews, but this turned out to be one of the cleanest hotels I've experienced—even when compared to 5-star accommodations. Both the room and bathroom were immaculate, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you're planning to stay in Jaffna for a few nights, I strongly recommend this hotel. It's an incredible value for the price!

I came here from Canada and I have to say, it has been an incredible experience! The rooms are wonderful and impeccably clean, the staff is very friendly, and the location is conveniently close to the town. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting, and definitely don't miss out on the breakfast package!

I spent two days at Jaffna City Palace during a brief visit to Jaffna for personal matters, while also juggling a busy work-from-home schedule. A friend suggested this hotel, and my main goal was to find a comfortable room where I could work without distractions, along with access to healthy food on-site. As soon as I arrived, I felt that it met my needs perfectly. The room was clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully laid out, featuring a cozy bed, a convenient work desk, quality furniture, and a modern, clean washroom — everything I required to work comfortably from my room. The food was a major highlight. The authentic Jaffna dishes and fresh juices were comforting and reminiscent of the meals I enjoyed growing up. It was healthy, straightforward, and made with care. What really impressed me was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Their service made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. In summary, it was a very comfortable and fulfilling stay for me. I would sincerely recommend this place to professionals in need of a serene environment as well as to travelers seeking a clean and welcoming accommodation in Jaffna.

The service was excellent, with friendly and accommodating staff. Despite a slight language barrier, they were very supportive and welcoming. The location is quite convenient; though the surroundings aren't particularly attractive, it met our needs for a one-night stay. The rooms featured a comfortable bed and clean linens, although I would have appreciated an extra pillow. The bathroom was tidy, and fresh towels were provided. However, we did encounter a strong odor coming from the bathroom drainage, which was quite unpleasant. Overall, our experience with the hotel and the staff was enjoyable, aside from that issue.

We had a lovely stay at Jaffna City Palace Hotel. The location is fantastic, just off the A9 road and easy to get to. The property is well kept, and the rooms were clean, comfy, and had all the necessary amenities, including hot water, bathroom supplies, and a tea-making setup. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The room prices are fair and truly a good value. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, particularly the lady at the front desk and the rest of the team. A special shoutout to Poovi, who was kind, helpful, and very supportive during our visit. All in all, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience 😊

This hotel is family-owned, tidy, and budget-friendly, located right in the center of Jaffna. It offers convenient access to the A9 highway and nearby amenities. The food was tasty and prepared according to our preferences. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We had a fantastic six-night visit! The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the breakfasts were truly delightful. They also organized an excellent driver who took us to numerous stunning locations. If you want a home away from home in Jaffna, this is the perfect spot. I highly recommend it!

I would definitely recommend this as a budget-friendly option in Jaffna. The rooms are spotless and well-kept. What my family and I appreciated the most was the exceptional service and delicious food. Our meals were incredibly tasty, and they happily made any changes we requested (like less spice or no sugar). The staff is very friendly, pleasant, and accommodating. They even arranged for a driver during our 3-night stay, who was excellent as well. While it may not be a luxury hotel, it offers a cozy homestay vibe with all the necessary amenities.
