    Spacious room with great amenities

    I stayed in a 'sea view' room that was quite large and could easily accommodate three people (with a king bed and a single bed). The room was very clean, and the staff was wonderful. The breakfasts were fabulous—I sampled both Western and Singha options during my visit—as well as the dinners. I really enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the beach and the gentle hum from the nearby Buddhist temple. Overall, it’s great value for the money.

    Efficient check-in and lovely room view

    Our check-in was handled smoothly, and the staff assisted us with our luggage to our reserved room. Room 20 is the first of five on the second floor, offering a lovely view of the Indian Ocean just across a small road. The stairway access behind reception leads to this newer area.

    Great location near the waterfront

    This guest house is ideally situated close to the waterfront, just across the road, and not far from the beach. While it's nice, it leans towards being quite plain and functional. The rooms are spacious and pleasant, but again, rather simple.

    Charming hotel with excellent food

    Having just come back from Sri Lanka, I highly recommend this hotel. The name says it all. The grounds are beautiful and lush. Most evenings, we enjoyed dining in the garden beneath the terrace. The food was outstanding and quite affordable.

    Great hotel near Polhena beach

    This hotel is quite lovely. The rooms are well-appointed, with options for both a/c and non a/c, plus some offer ocean views. It's just a quick 2-minute walk to Polhena beach from the hotel. The staff is very accommodating, the food is tasty, and the garden is beautiful.

    Great hotel near the beach

    This hotel is among the best in the area, conveniently located near both the local beach and the beaches adjacent to nearby restaurants. The rooms are well-sized and offer pleasant views. Additionally, the gardens are spacious, well-kept, and provide a relaxing atmosphere.

    Great value near Polhena Beach

    This is an excellent spot that's kept very clean, and the room prices are reasonable. You have the option of both air conditioning and a fan, plus hot water works well. The owner and their staff, especially the receptionist, are incredibly helpful. I felt secure here, and it's conveniently located just a short 2-minute walk to Polhena Beach. There's also ample parking available for vehicles.

    Great hospitality at TK's

    Having traveled to Sri Lanka numerous times, I always choose to stay at TK's when I'm in the southern part of the country. The owner, Tennyson, is exceptionally friendly, and his staff goes out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay.

    Great food and service nearby beach

    This is a budget-friendly spot with fantastic food. It's a bit of a walk, around 5 minutes from Polhena Beach, but totally worth it. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the service was excellent. An uncle there really went out of his way to assist us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
