    Wonderful stay in a tranquil setting

    We’ve returned to this hotel multiple times and have always been greeted with warmth, plus the food has been excellent. It's nicely tucked away from the noisy main road and the concrete buildings, yet the staff quickly transports you to the beach by boat. The boat ride through the mangroves is truly a standout experience. We were also pleasantly surprised by how clean the rooms were in Sri Lanka; we didn’t encounter any animal guests. We would love to visit again.

    Peaceful hotel by the lagoon

    This hotel is situated close to the lagoon, offering a wonderfully tranquil environment that's ideal for unwinding and having a good time. A quick boat ride from the hotel to the beach takes around 5 minutes, and you can easily contact the driver by phone.

    A Wonderful Family Getaway

    This hidden treasure is situated just on the outskirts of town, surrounded by a lovely, tranquil environment. We couldn't be happier. Traveling with our two-year-old son, we've found the accommodations to be fantastic. It's remarkably quiet, features a large, well-kept garden for our child to enjoy, and the pool is amazing. The service is outstanding, especially from Whida, who is exceptionally attentive and always ready to assist with any needs. Our room is very spacious, allowing our child to explore safely. In the mornings, guests can feed the monkeys in the mangroves from the private jetty on the property. We highly recommend this place!

    Location mix-up and cleanliness issues

    The Airbnb listing had the wrong location marked, which was completely different from where it actually was! I chose this place because it claimed to be close to the train station, but it turned out to be miles away. We spent 30 minutes driving around before we finally got a response. To make matters worse, the toilet was overrun with ants – they even crawled on my toothbrush! Such a waste of time.
