    Outstanding Hotel Security Team

    The security staff at this hotel is exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, they were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their presence made me feel secure and at ease without being intrusive. They handled every situation with calm confidence and were always available to assist with directions or any inquiries. It’s evident they take their role seriously and are invested in enhancing the guests’ experience. A fantastic security team that significantly contributes to the overall quality of the hotel.

    Great beach location, needs updates

    This hotel boasts a fantastic beach location, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The grounds are well-kept, offering plenty of sunbeds and shade options. The staff is both friendly and efficient, and the food is quite good. However, the hotel appears worn and is in need of renovation. Out of the two elevators, usually only one is operational, and sometimes neither works. The prices here are on the higher end for Sri Lanka, and you can find better hotels for less than half the cost elsewhere on the island, though they may lack this prime location. Ultimately, you are paying for the location. We did enjoy our stay overall.

    Great stay with excellent service

    We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Hikka Tranz with an all-inclusive package. The food was incredibly tasty, and the service was top-notch. The pool bar crew—Kumara, Damidu, Rumesh, Janaka, and Mendis—were not only friendly but also served up excellent drinks, all while providing a lovely view of the sea. Our room attendant, Uditha, kept our room spotless every day. Whenever he saw us, he greeted us with a warm smile and asked if we needed anything. Overall, it was an unforgettable holiday, and we can't wait to return soon.

    Clean room in an old hotel

    We spent a night at this hotel. Although the building is quite old and the decor along with the furnishings feel dated, the room was spotlessly clean. I could walk barefoot in the room without any discomfort, which speaks to the cleanliness.
