    Unexpected time limit ruined experience

    Our visit was incredibly frustrating! We were a group of four girls who ordered drinks, fries, and special rice, spending about 3-4 hours at the restaurant. Out of nowhere, two men approached us and told us to leave, claiming our time was up. We had already paid for our food, and we certainly weren’t there just to take up space. This was the first time I've encountered a restaurant with a time limit. The place was nearly empty, with only one couple present. If it had been packed, I could understand, but this was just disappointing. I won't be returning.

    Great Atmosphere and Good Food

    The vibe and ambiance here are fantastic. The music selection was spot on and really complemented the setting. Everything is thoughtfully arranged. We tried the spicy chicken fried rice and chicken cheese kottu. While the food was decent, it didn't blow us away, but it certainly wasn't disappointing either. I appreciate that they seem to avoid artificial flavors, which is a plus. The portion sizes are generous, and the pricing is reasonable. It's a great spot for family dinners or outings with a partner. Overall, a nice place with good food!

    Consistently Excellent Dining Experience

    We've visited this restaurant several times and have enjoyed the food and the overall experience every time. This place is the more upscale counterpart to Salgado, featuring a distinctly different menu and slightly higher prices that reflect the level of service provided. We stopped by for an early dinner and ordered some fried rice along with a few other dishes. The experience was fantastic. The dining area was quite elegant and tidy, which is impressive for Matale. The table settings were perfect, complete with cloth napkins, which added a nice touch. We tried the set yellow rice and the fried rice with hot buttered mushrooms. Everything was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. We loved it a lot. The prices seemed very fair, especially considering the quality of the food and the outstanding service. This is definitely a restaurant we plan to return to.
