It's easily reachable from the outer road, which helps you steer clear of the traffic on the internal routes, and it's close to the lighthouse, a great landmark. The breakfast options are fantastic—both the Sri Lankan and English breakfasts were generous portions and very flavorful. While there isn't a fridge or tea/coffee-making facilities in the room, the staff were accommodating and provided tea and coffee upon request.

This place is truly a hidden gem! With just four rooms, each one is beautifully maintained and full of character. The service is very personalized, and the location couldn't be better—right by the rampart and a short stroll to the famous lighthouse. The property offers free Wi-Fi, though the rooms lack a TV and fridge, but that’s not a major issue. My friend had a fantastic experience here. If you’re driving, there's free parking available next to the property.

This small hotel is really lovely and located in a perfect spot—central yet peaceful! It’s on one of the main streets of Galle Fort, with rooms that overlook the back towards the sea, so you can hear the waves all day and night. Our room was spacious and, unlike some other places we checked out, it had plenty of outlets for charging our devices. The service was impressive. At first glance, the host might remind you of an old history teacher, but he’s genuinely friendly. Breakfast was also quite satisfying, with generous portions; the fruit platter alone could have sufficed, but we also got an omelette and toast. We definitely plan to return!

I stayed at Fort Bliss for one night during a business trip, and it was truly ideal. I had a room with a sea view, which was a lovely place to relax. The villa is very serene and well-maintained, situated perfectly for easy access to all the shops and restaurants near Galle Fort. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. Even though my stay was brief, I felt completely at ease and at home. I would definitely return for a longer visit next time. Highly recommend!

We traveled from China to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary in Sri Lanka. We're currently in Galle and feel fortunate to have selected Fort Bliss Guesthouse. It’s just about 50 meters from the beach, making it a perfect spot.

We celebrated New Year's Eve in Galle and had a wonderful experience at Fort Bliss. The hotel is conveniently located near the fort walls and the lighthouse, showcasing lovely colonial architecture. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, offering us tea, juice, and a generous, delicious breakfast each morning. Our room was spotlessly clean and featured beautifully crafted old-fashioned furniture. I highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed a wonderful two-day stay at Fort Bliss in Galle. It's a charming little spot featuring four rooms—one on the ground floor and three upstairs, with a sea view from one of them. The location couldn’t be better; it’s just a short walk from the Fort ramparts and only five minutes from the bustling area with plenty of dining options nearby. The service was exceptional, with Imran and the chef ensuring that all our needs were met. Breakfast was delightful and beautifully presented.
